Did I do something wrong? ...Yes, yes you did rolo. The little guy was not as friendly as he seemed with this lady's dog on our walk today...though I should have know better. But, if both dogs have their hackles being raised, both owners should be cautious. Both. Not the case for the other dog and his owner, but of course, Rolo was to blame because he "looks like a pit mix". We, as in the owners, should have known better. We both need to be responsible. We both need to set up both dogs for success. Why should the actions of one person's dog matter to others? Because we take advantage of public walking spaces. We owe it to each other, humans and 4-legged friends alike to be responsible. I take my responsibility and will continue to work with Rolo. But lady, please, your dog needs to learn a few things too. Rolo was not the only one growing and going at it.
