Y’all remember this au? Well, I was thinking of tweaking it more so the FreckleMaple doesn’t seem so rushed and this time I’ll consider designs. But nothings official yet so, guess we’ll have to see.

It’s Petalkit! One of the main characters/ the initiator for the plot of my oc story. They are based on my kitty Kiku! They’re pretty shy and nonverbal, but are very affectionate to those they care about! They were born rogue, but their parent left them with the clan after their littermate died.

Part 2 of my character summaries! This time it’s the antagonists

Tawnyfrost - Primary antagonist

Age: Late 20s

Personality: Arrogant, ambitious, violent

Lore: A military prodigy born to a particularly old fashioned family, Tawnyfrost believes that the current council system of government is weak, and that the previous system with the armies of each court in charge was better and more in tune with fairie’s true natures. She joined up with the army of her court as soon as she was able, her sights set on the position of Head of Military on the council. She ends up as one of the youngest fairies in history running for the position, but her aggressive attitude has her just as many opposers as supporters. She is ultimately passed over the position in favor of her more even tempered collogue Stormleap. Not long after that, she meets with Petalblossom and Foxroot, who both arrived in her court to forge a political alliance. Tawnyfrost has a better idea, however. Why change the government from the inside when she can just do it from the outside! She wants a coup.

The coup fails in specular fashion, and Tawnyfrost barely escapes with her life. Petalblossom and Foxroot are both killed as a result, but death is merely a setback and Tawnyfrost brings them back as soon as she can recover their bodies, a new plan forming. She just needs some backup, in the form of some rather well known historical soldiers.

Petalblossom - Secondary antagonist

Age: Early 20s

Personality: Sharp, gossipy, acts demure

Lore: Born the heiress to what’s functionally an old money military family, with a father on the council, Petalblossom spent most of her years navigating a political battlefield as opposed to a physical one. She has plenty of formal military training of course, and is quite formidable, but her real strength lies in the pretty face and ditzy demeanor she projects to lower people’s guards to collect information. With the fairie lands in a time of peace news flows freely, and Petalblossom is well aware of Tawnyfrost, and agrees with her opinions, by the time she’s passed over for the promotion. It’s her idea to seek her out alongside Foxroot, in the hopes of securing a political ally.

Petalblossom is killed in the initial fight. As a result she’s also the first to be brought back by Tawnyfrost, and she aids in the recovery of Foxroot’s body. Despite the failure of the initial coup, Petalblossom knows the council was shaken. The second coup will cause then to crumble, she’s sure of it.

Foxroot - Secondary antagonist

Age: Mid 20s

Personality: Charming, curious, sadistic

Lore: The son of well known alchemists, with a mother on the council, Foxroot takes after his parents interest in alchemy. He appears overall well mannered, but even from a young age he was fascinated by what various potions and poisons could do to a fairie. This made him off putting to most, though he still had one or two friends, one of them being Petalblosson. As Foxroot grew older, this interest moved from hypotheticals to him experimenting on living fairies, typically criminals that were apprehended and passed on to him by his parents. Like Petalblossom, he was well aware of Tawnyfrost and in agreement with her opinions before her failed promotion, so he follows Petalblossom when she leaves to seek Tawnyfrost out.

While Foxroot survives the initial coup attempt, he is later quietly executed before he can escape. However, Tawnyfrost and Petalblossom successfully recover his body, and he is brought back to life shortly after. With his newly changed physiology, he now has a new interest in seeing just what can be done to these new bodies.

Crescentflake - A curious and intelligent she-cat. Cresentflake can’t help but want to know everything she can, she is always asking questions and wherever questions have no answer, she investigates what she can about what she wants to know. Cresentflake likes to take the time to try and find food stores prey has made so she can make a mental note of this in order to help herself and her clanmates find prey in leafbare, she has a great memory, many of her clanmates joke that she can remember where the squirrels put their acorns better than the squirrels can, something that Cresentflake will always good humouredly agree that it is probably a fact, 15/10

Dustface- A serious and proud tom. Dustface doesn’t like to see warriors messing around like kits, he believes that warriors should hold themselves to a certain standard, and will often shoot looks at any clanmates that are messing around, especially at gatherings, he doesn’t want the other clans to think his clan is full of giddy squirrels. Dustface tries his best to set an example of what he believes a warrior should be, he is fiercely loyal to his clan and he always thinks through logically his next course of action, he tries his best to be a fine and disciplined warrior, and he succeeds for the most part, but he can never admit his mistakes and will always try and shift the blame to something else, 14/10

Ducktail- A cheerful and kind tom. Ducktail is a popular cat in his clan, he always looks out for others and his positive attitude is infectious, he has a purr loud enough to be heard several tail lengths away. Ducktail will be seen frequency visiting the elders, he greatly respects them and he likes to keep them company when he can, as he thinks it’s a shame that most cats in a clan don’t spend that much time with them, he believes a lot can be learned from them, 14/10

Petalblossom- A gentle and thoughtful she-cat. Petalblossom has always loved kits, and she can’t wait to raise her own, she often spends long periods of time thinking about how she would raise her kits. Petalblossom is a patient cat, she can easily wait long periods of time for something as long as she knows it will be worth it. She is also extremely gentle, and she always makes an effort to be kind, even when she has to be stern she will never go to far, just harsh enough to get her message across, but if she ever sees a cat that tries to harm a kit, she certainly won’t be as kind, she is as fierce as a badger when it comes to protecting kits, 15/10

Hazelfur - An intelligent and skilful she-cat. Back when Hazelfur was younger she was considered an extremely skilful warrior and a great tactician, many cats thought she might have a shot at being leader, but it was never meant to be. Hazelfur tries to keep her skills and mind sharp whenever she can, she doesn’t like being old, she’s still as young as she ever was in spirit, but her body certainly says otherwise. Hazelfur would do anything to have just one day to feel young again, she knows that is impossible, but she can’t help but dream, 13/10

Crowmint - An intelligent and wise tom. Crowmint has had a lot of time to reflect on things since retiring, even though he isn’t a medicine cat anyone, he still wants to try and help his clanmates as best as he can, so he will always be there to help advise a cat that needs it, and his advice is generally regarded to be very good, and he often uses anecdotes about his time as a medicine cat to get his ping across. Crowmint has always made it clear he will assist in the medicine den when a spare pair of paws is needed, he may be old but that doesn’t mean he wants to spend all his time in the elders den, 14/10
