Petalwings! adoptables and Custom!
ok so it seems i will be going through with making more of these little things. i'll try for maybe one a week adoptable or custom. adoptables will be cheaper and customes can vary depending on the type, as for prices see below.
adoptable Petalwing: $5.00
normal custom Petalwing(i.e. any regular flower): $10.00
rare custom Petalwing(i.e. non flowers): $15.00
all of these above options come with a character sheet for your petal wing like the ones you've seen, any custom builds include additional information such as gender, likes dislikes or personality etc. as you would like, while the adopts remain void of these for the adopter to add as they see fit.
if you have any questions or would like a petal wing feel free to message me. and enjoy ^-^
A great follow up question. Now, does the fruit do anything as far as their reproduction is concerned? In other words, are there seeds in the fruit and if so do those seeds grow into anything?
yes seeds are usually present but here's where it gets a little complex for them, the only types of insects they will avoid eating are bees and butterflys as they will actually pollinate their flowers, any seeds, fruit born or otherwise will grow into their base plant (ie. petalwing apple flowers into apples into apple seeds into new apple tree.) so while not directly involved with the petalwings reproduction the petalwings are compatible with most types of plants and can help them reproduce through their head/ body flowers/ fruit.
In this way petalwings share a sort of symbiosis with their environment, a petalwing uses its environment and similar flowers to hide and conceal themselves whilst hunting and in turn they help spread their similar flowers around, creating a large territory for them to live in and helping the flowers reproduce. while a majority of petal wings have this ability some stranger types do not. it's all based on their plant.
got a great question about the petal wings earlier. do they bear fruit?
excellent question! and the answer is yes. any fruit bearing petal wings go through a molting season once a year where their head or body flowers turn to fruit and fall off as new ones grow in. during these times fruit bearing Petal wings will typically feed almost primarily off of sunlight as luring prey to them becomes a bit more difficult.
