A prompt/idea for you!! Which puppyboys wouldn't recognise you after a dramatic/different haircut? I came home from the hairdresser today and my neighbour's labrador didn't recognise me </3 T_T
DUDE I THINK ABOUT THIS ALL THE TIME!!! i used to dye my hair alot and change the style and i was always worried that my cat wouldn't recognize me :(. i think the following boys would be confused or unable to recognize you at first after a hair change
i feel like puppyboy!nishinoya would def not recognize you, especially if at first he only saw you from the back of side, or your face was kinda covered. like he isnt stupid, he just forgot you told him you were changing your hair! he probably spent the day staring at a picture of you on the wall with your old hair, and that’s just the you he has in his brain!
puppy!bokuto is also the same way.... but he’s kinda stupid. he doesn’t really understand like object permanence so when you leave for anything he can tend to forget what you look like anyway. BUT he does know what you smell like (cause he can’t get enough of how you smell, like cuddle time is just bo on top of you, nose in your skin SNIFFING)
weirdly enough, i think like pet boys kageyama and ushijima might also forget who you are for a second. like it just doesn’t process in their brains that you can chop all your hair off, get bangs, or dye it a crazy color.
BUT no matter what, i think at the end of the day, your petboy looks into your eyes and he knows its you. just like with bo and smell, all the boys can just tell its you, cause they spend soooo much time just looking at ya
