Does Vivienne have any lore yet? :3
i’ve been waiting for this, i haven’t really brainstormed a whole backstory yet, but now i have an excuse too 😈
vivienne grew up in a city in the states with parents who were both educators. they enforced strict rules about school but also supported her interests. like when she began creating as a child, they enrolled her in art workshops, bought her a sewing machine, and displayed her early handmade pieces. the approach helped her grow into an independent, intelligent, and ambitious young woman.
after high school, she moved to france to study fashion design at a prestigious art school. when she wasn’t breaking rules, she spent free time collecting records, mostly post-punk, new wave, and dark synth albums. she also adopted pocket chains as a signature accessory, collecting them and layering them over vests and skirts. in the new city, she stayed creative and bold while keeping mysterious around new people. but once she got to know someone, she became warm and attentive. she remained stubborn about her morals as well, never compromising them. though she could be mischievous and lied convincingly when it served a purpose, such as protecting others or avoiding trouble. but her loyalty to friends was absolute.
in france, she formed a tight-knit friend group with two or three fellow art students. they went to underground raves, talked their way into exclusive fashion events, and spent early mornings in the dorm with coffee and tea. one night during paris fashion week, at an after-party, the girls discovered a human trafficking operation disguised as a modeling agency. they overheard some conversations and saw two young models being separated. the realization disturbed them and vivienne knew they couldn’t ignore it. using her knowledge of the venue and quick planning, the group led the two distressed models out through a service exit into a taxi. that very night, they all left france on a train to the united kingdom.
in the uk, unable to return safely and needing to support themselves, the girls turned to small criminal activities. vivienne took leadership naturally, their work growing more complex and effective as time passed. as their reputation spread in the underground, other gangs noticed them. pete, already established, became especially interested. he admired her distinctive style and had heard the stories of her calculated decisions and firm morals. their paths crossed more than once; shared areas, overlapping jobs, encounters in bars or at events. she eventually approached him directly and they started a romantic relationship. pete actually gave her the rooker pocket charm and custom breastplate to match his codpiece.
how cute <3
