Single Dads - Happy Birthday

FOX saw the greatness that lies within' Pete and Brian (greatest comedy duo of all time) and signed them up for two seasons of their show, Single Dads.  They decided to try a Simpsons style strategy by producing shorts first and partnered with Hulu for broadcasting. 

Unfortunately, FOX never picked up the show as a full blown series but the two shorts season that we got are still fantastic.  It was good enough for Jimmy Fallon to blatantly rip off the idea and produce the underwhelming "Guys with Kids".

Merry Interesting Xmas (cards)

So before I start exploring the - hopefully off the beaten path of tourists places in LA - and sharing those unique experiences with you, thought I would start with some hmm interesting holiday cards and outtakes that were a highlight of the end of this year.  well there are only two that really fit the bill...I will be narcissistic and nominate my first Merry Beastmas card as well as our friend's John Lennon inspired card that I shared with relatives back home. 

The latter was met with a smattering of "interestings" with some slight horrified looks from the more conservative crowd - but i thought it was genius if you don't mind your butt ending up on a blog.  If you want to see more of that guy clothed - you can check him out here: http://www.peteandbrian.com/
