This is too funny! Just seeing them laugh makes me laugh.
Love these two :)
I’m writing a paper on police work and am using Adam 12 (and Dragnet) as a source! Any particular episodes or scenes or situations that would be great for examples of excellent police work? (Or terrible police work, because The writers didn’t veer away from that).
I have wrong police behavior...Like Ed Wells in the first season ep. or Malloy reacting to the child abductor by roughing him up. (Tod seemed to be the same way too...different show)..maybe a few others.
I want to give my audience a sense that the police are mere humans with human actions that work with a badge and uniform and possess some regulations and rules on how they should act on the job...
So any suggestions? I realize that a lot of the blogs based on Jack Webb shows haven’t been as active but it’s worth a shot. I have yet to collect the whole series and only have the first, so help is welcomed! :)
“If” - Personalities
Let’s see
Pete Malloy would be the friend who keeps you in line and has fun with you at the same time. He is loyal to you even though you can be annoying. He is patient, a good listener, and doesn’t back down.
Jim Reed is just the little brother who is always trying to find the cheery side to something, but is also sensitive and can’t believe that some of his jokes aren’t funny.
Roy DeSoto is the caring and gentle brother, older or the same age. He’s serious about what he’s doing and helps Pete keep the other’s in line, but he does enjoy finding fun/exciting things to do.
Johnny Gage is the caring type (little brother’s friend), but leaves it to when times are much more in need of a caring person. Otherwise, he and Jim would find something to laugh about or something to do that was pointless to the others. Johnny is sensitive and want to be a part of everything that’s going on.
That’s my fun thoughts for today..:)
I've made a Reed one to my Malloy Honestly I need more serious Reed pictures....haha
Kind of a blah day yet a good day. Had to deal with some annnoying people who were being rude beyond belief and just...SQUIRRELS....as Malloy refers to them.
Real quicky...and it’s season 1...which episode does Malloy talk to read about people and there being a lot of squirrels in this world. I’m just gonna rewatch the first season, but thought someone else might know of the top of there head..;)
Reed and Malloy - pardon for the awkwardness on Reed. Did this with no picture reference and was trying for cartoony effect. Haha
Pete Malloy - Just too cool...Love him
Kid (Robert Fuller character) - up next is Pete Malloy! :)
