Opening on May 22nd, 2022 at BEERS London in London is artist Peter Matthews’s solo exhibition, “Shape Shifter.”
Peter Matthews’s works have always been about how we, as individuals and a greater society of people, have to keep adjusting to the uncertainty and ambiguity of life and the natural world. Matthews presents his fourth solo exhibition with the gallery, and as always, the nomadic artist effortlessly combines painting and drawing with a greater holistic view of the natural world as it shifts around us.

Painted over several months from January to April in and along the Pacific coast of Taiwan.
Rest in peace to a legend
Today we lost Peter Matthew's, a film legend who performed as the Wookie we all know and love from Star Wars, Chewbacca. When I was a kid, watching the special features of a new hope I got to see the wonder and happiness in this man's eyes as he performed in that large fur suit. And it was beautiful to see his involvement with the fans through the 501st legion and St. Jude. Peter Matthew's, you will be missed.
