i have this modern zombies au in my head that involves dempsey getting an associates degree which is only being mentioned for exposition . Peter’s family owns a mechanics shop so when Dempsey finishes his associates he wants to work full time therr until he can find out what to do for the rest of his life . they’re childhood best friends btw . so its Dempsey’s second year and he’s got a little apartment close to the school that hes sharing with the other three because im so original .

and so Peter decides he wants to enlist ! which also in my head Dempsey got kicked out of his house by his piece of shit father for making the distinct decision NOT to do that (im a military kid and after seeing what it did to my parents you couldnt pay me to join). so Dempsey is NOT happy about this at all . he is very scared about something happening or them just drifting apart from all the space and he’s venting to Ed about it really late one night and it hits him . he’s like “oh god. i like boys don’t i. im in love with peter arent i.”

to which Ed (the only openly queer guy in the house) is like …. look man its not my place to say yes or no but …. definitely yes …

i need to put these guys in pitri dishes and study them
