PETER ORNTOFT
Sometimes it helps to get a bit of perspective in the world.

Peter Ørntoft proposes a great idea about Road DNA universal system:
The aim for this project is to create a system that can measure and visualize the unique structure, or DNA, of a road. The system is built upon 3 universal parameters that together make each road structure completely unique: infrastructure, demography and the visible content of buildings and space onthe road. In theory the universal parameters enables the system to work with every road, everywhere in the world. Like in DNA and fingerprints, the parameters allow the structure to hold, carry and give information that can be useful inmany situations.
Sculptural Infographics
I have recently come across some good examples of physical sculptural infographics again. I do prefer these due to their impactful nature to some of the flat, decorative infographics which have been all the rave over the last couple of months.
Here are some examples:
The Point of No Return (2010) by students from Noah Scalin's Design Rebels class.

These two come from a series of "infographics in context" by Peter Orntoft.
