Anonymous Request: Hi! If it isn’t too much trouble, can I request an imagine for Peter Parker (Andrew's version) x-reader with the trope enemies to lovers, because I'm a sucker for it. I love the teasing and all. If you’re comfortable with light smut, that would be cool too!!
A/N: Thank you so much for requesting! I've been meaning to write an enemies to lovers trope! I feel like I suck at writing smut, so I tried my best. Please don't hesitate to give me constructive criticism, that's always appreciated. Enjoy!
Summary: You've always hated Peter Parker, don't know why. The two of you have had this rivalry since you were little, constantly competing with each other and calling one another names. His aunt and uncle had been best friends with your parents since high school, causing the two of you to constantly be around one another. You thought over the years maybe this hate would fade away, but it just got worse when you started your junior year of high school. However, you can't help but enjoy Peter's sarcastic remarks; maybe even a little too much.

Peter Parker x-reader
A yawn escaped my lips as I rested on my chin on the palm of my hand. Mrs. Stevenson paced up and down the aisle in between the tables of the classroom. She walked up to the whiteboard and wrote down how much time we had left on the statistics test.
Peter Parker sat in front of me, glancing at me from time to time. I brought a hand up to rest on the side of my face and slowly lifted up my middle finger.
Peter gazed at me with raised brows as a glare appeared on his face. Before my teacher turned around, I quickly lowered my finger. "Mr. Parker, eyes on your own paper or I'll have take up your test," our statistics teacher said.
I covered my chuckle with a cough, covering my mouth with the inside of my elbow. Peter reached his leg forward and kicked me in the shin. I jumped in my seat from the sudden nudge.
"Mr. Parker," Mrs. Stevenson said, "Don't make me ask again."
I quickly kicked Peter in the shin just like he did. Peter looked back at the teacher who had brought her attention back to the board. She swiftly turned around and turned back to my enemy and I. "Y/N, Peter. Front office, now!" Mrs. Stevenson ordered.
"What! He's the one that-" I started. "Ms. Y/L/N, don't make me ask again," she interjected. Peter huffed and stood up from the table, swinging his backpack over his shoulder.
I grabbed my bag and slipped my arms through the straps, adjusting them at a comfortable position. Peter and I grabbed our tests and handed them to her teacher before walking towards the door.
Peter pushed me aside to prevent me from getting through. I pushed my shoulder against his, enabling me to slip past him. "Seriously," he muttered with a huff in annoyance.
The front office was quiet except the occasional typing or chime of the school's phone. This wasn't the first time that Peter and I had been sent to the principle for our little predicaments.
Last year, during a pop quiz Peter purposefully threw a pencil in my general direction leaving me with no choice but to launch it at him. Of course, our parents ignored the whole incidents and blamed it on teenage hormones.
Principal Sharp stood up from his desk and walked over to the opened door. He stood their with crossed arms. "Normal Tuesday afternoon for you two, isn't it?" he said. Our principal walked over to the desk and sat down.
Peter and I both knew the drill. I sat on the far chair while Peter sat nearby. He rested his arms on the rest of the chair, putting his hand on the side of his face to prevent making eye contact with me.
"You two know the ordeal," Principal Sharp stated.
"Yeah, yeah. You give us detention, we go our separate ways and we never bother one another again," I remarked, leaning back with my arms crossed. Principal Sharp chuckled sarcastically and shook his head in response. He leaned in with his hands clasped together. "No, no," he said, "I was thinking you and Mr. Parker will be settling your differences."
I sat up in my seat, fully enveloped in what our principle was going to demand. Peter grew curious as well. "And how do you suppose we do that?" he asked with his posture now straightened. "You two will conduct a project in which you will be discussing the importance of friendship," Principle Sharp answered. "What? We're not kindergarteners," I retorted. Peter glanced at me, for once agreeing with me.
His look of agreeance faded when I stole a glimpse. Mr. Sharp chuckled and got up from his desk. He stood at the front and leaned against with his hands resting on either side of his legs. "Well, if you're going to act like kindergarteners," he said.
He reached behind him and grabbed two packets from the top of his computer. "Then might as well treat you like kindergartners," our principle added.
He leaned forward and handed the two of us each a packet. I looked at the packet, scoffing with a shake of my head. "I've already contacted your parents. Both of them are aware of what has happened," he said.
Principle Sharp walked around his desk and sat down on the chair. He took a sip of his coffee then set it down on top of his wooden coaster. "The two of you are free to go home. I suggest you start the project today," Principle Sharp added, "You have till the end of the month to turn in this project."
I raised my brows at the sound, getting up from the office chair. Peter stood up from the chair and grabbed his backpack. "Sir, the end of the month is in three weeks," I said. "Then I guess you should pick up the pace, Ms. Y/L/N," he said. He looked up from his computer and gave me a small smile. I grunted in frustration, opening the door, closing it behind me. Peter followed after me as he called my name. "What, Parker?" I said and whipped my head around.
"Don't you think we should meet at the library?" Peter spoke as he walked alongside me. I ignored his statement and pushed open the door. Peter followed after me as I walked towards the bike rack. I fished for my keys, eventually finding them in the front pocket. "No," I replied, "There is no way I am staying in a library with you for hours on end."
"Doesn't have to be in the library," he said. Peter chuckled, biting his lip. My stomach did flips at the sight. I pushed the feeling down and unlocked the lock on my bike. Peter watched me as I pulled the bike out of it's spot.
"Y/N, I know your parents. They're not going to appreciate it when they're perfect little princess doesn't obey the principle's rules," he said, his eyes trailing down my body as I swung a leg over the leather seat of my blue bike. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my earbuds from my bag.
"Since when did we ever follow the rules," I said. "Y/N, c'mon," Peter replied with slouched shoulders. I huffed and put my hair into a low pony tail, double tying it so it wouldn't get in my face. Peter took his skateboard from his backpack.
He set it onto the ground. "We only have to do this for three weeks, remember? After that we can go our separate ways, just like you said," Peter spoke. I responded with a nod, not knowing how to correctly reply.
"Good, I'll see you later then," Peter said and hopped on his skateboard. Why the hell was he being so nice to me all of a sudden? I put my ear buds in and began listening to my music. My eyes caught sight of Peter flipping onto the railings of a bike rack, effortlessly landing. "Yo, I'm walkin' here!" someone yelled, dodging out of the way. I turned around to see a older man screaming at me.
"Sorry!" I replied, pedaling faster to get out of the way. Within just a few minutes, I arrived home much earlier than I originally did. I hopped off my bike just to notice that Peter was arriving the same time I was. Another con of being enemies with Peter Parker, was living right across from him in addition to his aunt being friends with my parents.
I walked up the front steps of the townhouse and set the bike on the front porch, leaning it against the wall. I opened the door to find my parents not in the room. "Go figured," I said and closed the door behind me. My mother and father both work at a police station, either one of them taking extra shifts.
Given they have been working more, they haven't had much time to see how I was doing. My orange cat - Cheddar - ran up to me with his tail swaying from side to side. "Hey buddy," I greeted, kneeling down to pet his head.
He pressed his head against the palm of my hand. I grinned and set my bag down before picking up my adored cat. I walked into the kitchen to find my parents had left their dishes out from this morning. Cheddar meowed when I set him on the counter.
I huffed in frustration and set the dirty dishes into the dishwasher then put some soap into the compartment before starting the silver dishwasher. My cat sat on the counter as he watched me clean up the kitchen, something that I often did after school. I fed my cat some food and made my way up to my bedroom.

(Time Skip - three hours later)
I sat on Peter's bed with my computer sitting on my lap as I searched for more articles. Peter sat my desk, flipping through his computer. He rested his head on his hand. Peter took a sip of the lemonade he had poured from the cold pitcher.
"Find anything new?" I questioned, sitting up from the bed.
"Other than the child therapist website, none," Peter replied.
I groaned and swung my legs over the bed, leaning forward with my arms resting on my knees. I stood up from the bed and walked over, leaning against the wall. "So, we're stuck?" I asked. Peter pursed his lips and nodded his head, lifting up his glasses as he replied (GIF Above). I rested my head against the wall and ran a hand through my hair. I felt Peter's eyes land on me, watching my every move.
He looked back down at his computer and continued to search Google. Peter grabbed the lemonade glass and peered into it, realizing there was none left. "Get me more, please?" he asked and motioned towards the empty glass. I looked at him with raised brows. I sighed and grabbed the glass from him, walking downstairs. Aunt May sat in the living room with a Country Living magazine resting in her lap.
"Y/N, how's the project going?" she asked, looking up from her magazine. I turned to look at the nice lady and shrugged my shoulders. "Alright, we're having trouble finding some articles," I replied. She nodded and watched me as I walked into the kitchen. I finally found the pitcher of lemonade at the back of the fridge. Aunt May stood up from the leather couch, strolling over to me. "That boy asked you to get lemonade for him, didn't he?" she said with crossed arms.
I chuckled and nodded my head in response. I finished pouring the lemonade then set the glass pitcher into the fridge. "Why don't you two like one another?" Aunt May asked as she leaned against the counter. She grabbed a wet cloth and began wiping down the counter. "Would you like me to answer that honestly? Given he's your nephew..." I trailed.
Aunt May chuckled and draped the damp knitted cloth over the edge of the sink. "I'm all ears sweetheart," she said. She watched me as I searched through my head, trying to figure out how to explain in an appropriate manner.
"He's just....." I sighed, "I guess, we've been 'competing' with each other ever since we were little and I guess, I guess..." May tilted her head to the side with brows raised. She motioned for me to continue speaking.
"I guess once we finish this project, we'll go our separate ways and won't encounter each other anymore," I continued. Aunt May looked up from the ground with her brows raised, a smirk slowly appearing on her face. I furrowed my brows and tilted my head in confusion. "What's that face for?" I asked. "Y/N/N, can I tell you something?" she asked. I nodded in response.
May sighed and walked over to me. She set her hands on my shoulders, running her hand up and down in a soothing motion. "I think," she said and straightened the red bandana on my head. "You like my nephew," Peter's Aunt continued. "What! No, no I don't," I said, shaking my head as I spoke. The women chuckled and patted my shoulder. She turned on the sink and cleaned a couple dishes.
"I don't like Peter, why would I like him?" I said, "I mean-" I gulped as I desperately tried to convince myself that I didn't actually like Peter Parker. Aunt May watched me as I paced back and forth. She set her hands on her hips, looking at me in amusement.
"This is the guy I've hated since elementary school, the guy who calls me 'princess' just to spite me, the guy that purposefully gets me in trouble, the guy that stays in my mi-" I stopped myself, pulling everything together.
Aunt May grinned from ear to ear and walked over to the refrigerator. She stood in front of it in a proud manner. She set the lemonade into the fridge and grabbed a water bottle instead. I shook my head, running a hand through my hair.
"No, you know what? It's a good thing, because-because he doesn't like me. Even if he did, he'd-he'd make a move. Right? Right?" I said, laughing to myself. The woman shook her head and passed me the disposable bottle.
I swiftly caught the plastic water bottle before it fell to the tiled flooring. She chuckled and leaned against the kitchen island with one hand resting on the edge while the other one sat on her hip. "Believe me Y/N. He adores you," she said, "People fall in love without reason, without even wanting to." She walked over to me with rag in her hands.
"You can't predict it, that's love," she added. The corners of my mouth lifted at the sound of her statement. "Now, go up there and finish that project," May added, hitting me with the dirty rag. "Okay, okay," I said in between laughter. I walked back up to Peter's room to see him still sitting at his desk. He looked up and saw me holding a water bottle.
"I asked for lemonade," Peter said.
"Yeah, but you got water," I remarked, throwing the bottle at him.
"What took you so long?" he questioned. Peter swiveled in the chair so he face me. He watched me as I sat down on his bed, picking up my computer from the end of the bed. "Your aunt was downstairs and we just talked for a bit," I answered and looked down at my opened laptop.
"About what?" he asked. "Oh, you know," I shrugged, "Stuff." Peter rolled his eyes and turned back to his computer, taking a sip of the water bottle. How could I possibly like this guy?

(Two Weeks Later)
"Okay," Peter sighed, "How bout' we finish it like this, 'Friendship helps strengthen people by grouping individuals from their differences to create a bond stronger then human life itself'?" He stopped pacing back and forth to turn and look at me. I typed out Peter's statement into the article. I leaned back and read the end paragraph to myself. He walked over, hovering over me.
It took everyone within me to hold the light pink color to rise to my cheeks. Peter was awfully close to my face. One wrong move and everyone goes south. We only had one week until this project was over with. Sadly, I wasn't ready for it to end. If I'm being honest, I really liked hanging out with Peter.
He was sweet, charming and can't forget handsome. He was intelligent, no doubt about that. I just wished my stubborn ass would tell him what I felt deep down. What Aunt May had said stuck in my head for the past two weeks, eating away at my anxiety; like I was a ticking time bomb just ready to explode. I was ready till I finally broke, maybe that way Peter would just spare me the embarrassment and let me leave him alone for good.
Peter continued to hover over my shoulder, not reading the conclusion paragraph but typing in his name at the top. Usually he'd type in his name before mine, but this time he kept mine in front of his.
The whole time we had been working together, neither one of us had tried to pick a fight. We hadn't argued about one another eating loudly or clicking the red pen repeatedly. The two of us even visited the skatepark once to take a break from the constant working.
As well as our bickering diminishing, my parents started to come home more often; letting me speak to them more and not have to worry about coming home to an empty house.
My grade's had gotten better, life was going pretty well except for the part where I was falling for the guy I used to hate. Peter's brown eyes trailed away from the computer screen to look at me.
I noticed his eyes flit down to my lips then up to my eyes. The past few seconds were absolute torture, just gazing at one another. "Whatchya doin' Parker?" I said, but it sounded more quiet than I had intended. He smirked. His hand reached to the side and shut my laptop. The feeling of Peter's lips caught me off guard.
The kiss was soft at first, but soon turned into a round of passion. His hand rested on the side of my face while the other hand pulled me out of the desk. Peter let go of my face, his hands finding their way to my waist. I felt him smirk against my lips as he led me over to the other side of the room, pressing me against the door. My chest rose up and down as we broke apart for air.
He had one hand pressed against the area above my head while one hand was just over my left shoulder. "Hi," he said. "Hi," I repeated with a smirk on my face. Peter removed his hand from above my head to lock the bedroom door. He looked back at me with the familiar smirk that always managed to make me melt. Peter glanced down at my lips again.
I rolled my eyes and stood up straighter, connecting my lips with his once more. Peter's hands found their way to the hem of my sweater, yanking at it to come off. I chuckled and swiftly removed the grey and black sweater, tossing it to the side.
Peter smirked while his eyes trailed down my exposed skin. Articles of clothing began flying everywhere when Peter's lips attacked the side of my neck.
Peter's legs sat on either side of me, one arm grasping my hand while the other one tossed my Y/H/C hair to the side. A yelp of surprise escaped my lips when he ran a hand over my leg. Peter kissed my bare shoulder then underneath the hem of my navy blue sports bra.
He smirked as I arched my back, gaining him access to the clasp of my sports bra. Before he fully slipped it off, he looked back to me. "You sure about this?" he questioned, voice raspy. "Never been more sure about anything," I replied. He smirked and threw the bra to the side, bringing his lips back to my bare chest.
______
(Next Morning)
The morning sun seeped through the curtains of Peter's bedroom, straight lines of the glowing sun light scattering across the carpet. Our clothes were all over the place from yesterdays occurrence. Peter's chest pressed against my back as his arms wrapped around me, his head tucked in the crook of my neck. I couldn't help but smile at the feeling his arms around me, the sensation of his lips still lingering.
Peter's eyes fluttered open from the sun shining onto the bed. I looked up at him with a smile still on my face. "Morning Princess," he said, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. Peter ran a hand up and down my leg, tucking his fingers underneath the strap of my underwear. Goosebumps raised to my skin as he ran a hand over my bare body.
"Morning," I replied, lightly kissing him on the lips. He set a hand on the side of my face to deepen the kiss. Our lips moved in sync when he flipped over to hover above me. I opened my eyes. "You're beautiful," he said, running a hand through my frizzy hair. I giggled in response as his hands rested just above the top of my underwear. "Thank god we got that project done," I said. Peter chuckled in response.
A knock on Peter's bedroom sounded from the other side. We jerked our heads to the door with a look of concern immediately finding it's way onto our faces. "Peter, Y/N. Breakfast is ready," Aunt May said, "I've got to head to work, but have fun finishing the project." Peter smiled even though his aunt couldn't see him. "Thanks May, love you," he said.
"Love you too honey," she replied and left the door. Peter sighed and turned back to me, leaning his face close to my ear. "We'll finish this later," he said and hopped up from the bed.
