This time, however, I have A LOT to say!

This is the part of the musical in which the queen begs (or rather, orders) Aimé to kill Snow White. To take her out into the woods and pick mushrooms, and then stab her, and bring her heart back to the queen in a glass box. Standard Snow White stuff, you know.

I love the look he gives her in the second gif, like he has some small hope in that she wont actually tell him to do it. “Please don’t do this”. But she becomes even worse, and tells him that if he doesn’t do it, it’ll be HIS heart that ends up in the box (gif 3).

Then they get Snow White up on stage, and the queen tells her to not be sad because she couldn’t got with the Prince on a date (the queen and company ruined their plans to do so). Instead, to feel better, maybe she should go for a walk with Aimé and pick some mushrooms? By these words, he gives her the look in gif 4, and it’s so heartbreaking! hhhhhhh-

In the 5′th gif, Snow White tells him that she feels save with him out there, because he will protect her if anything would happen to her, right? His only response is “don’t be so sure of that”.

The last three gifs are him singing his heart out. The song is called “Waarom?” (”Why”) and is basically him going forwards and backwards with either killing her like a monster, or not kill her and be killed himself instead.

Here you have Peter’s version of the song, please listen because oh he’s such an amazing singer. I did also find the original version sung by Aimé Anthoni on Youtube. Did not expect that at all! Have a listen here if you’d like, it’s an amazing version, and honestly, I haven’t heard Aimé tackle such a deep song before. He often plays goofy and funny characters, so it sounds out of place, and yet sounds so right. (Also, yes, his vibrato is insane, but I like it). Aimé has an insane gift of sounding really serious when he needs to. It’s like he’s either 100% goofball or 100% bloody seriousness.
