He has so much to get done today. With his photography career not exactly getting the traction he had hopped the man was struggling to make ends meet at the end of his first month here in Sydney. It had taken him literally all his savings to skip across the ocean and make a new life for himself, and looking back that hadn’t been a wise choice. In fact, he was surprised he had ever taken that risk in the first place. It was so- unlike him. Regardless, he was here now, and he had a lot on his mind. Perhaps that’s why when he made a sharp turn around the corner he felt a tingle travel up the base of his spine just before colliding with another person. A person who unfortunately got a nice hot cup of joe spilled down the front of their shirt.
“Oh my- geez, I’m so sorry!” His words were a bit louder than they probably should have been, but he felt so incredibly bad for not keeping his eyes open for others. In a frantic attempt to lend a hand he pulled off the scarf that he had wrapped around his neck and began using it to dab away at their shirt.
