New au idea!

Once upon an emo-pete life time, he worked in a seaside town for the summer because a friend of his mom's needed help.

It doesn't suck much to Pete's surprise, especially since he can look around in tide pools and begins collecting shells. One day he happens to find a clam and hey, pearls come from those right? Sure enough once hes back home he crack the clam open and there's a big ol' pearl laying there.

Pretty hyped, Pete decides that he'll sell it in the morning; except when he wakes up to check on the clam the only thing in the clam is a little person dressed in glittery pearl colored clothes.

The Pearl informs Pete his name is Patrick and the story goes from there.

Confusion! Hijinks! Having to bullshit Patrick's appearences! Near death experience because Patrick shouldn't be with humans! Lots of love and eventual marriage!

For now I'm just calling this au "Patrick the Pearl and Pete"

Laputa: Castle in the Sky! Peterick AU

I recently had the idea of Pete and Patrick as Pazu and Sheeta from the Ghibli movie Laputa: Castle in the sky. Imagine for a second, the young engineering apprentice Pete, one evening, casually walking home from work when he all of a sudden sees how a young boy (Patrick obviously) falls from the sky with a glowing crystal amulette hanging around his neck and saves him. Pete takes Patrick to his home so he can recover and tells him the story of how his father had found a floating island in the sky and had even taken pictures of it. But soon after the two boys are being chased by both the air pirates (maybe My chemical romance? Or Panic! at the disco?) and by Agent Muska (Maybe William Beckett or Gabe Saporta?) because of Patrick’s magical Stone. While they are on the run they find out, that Patrick is probably a decendent of the royal line of Laputa and his magical stone is made of the same materiel that is believed to make the Island Laputa fly. Unfortunatly Patrick gets eventually captured by William/Gabe/whoever-it-may-be and is forced to coorperate with him to prevent William/Gabe from killing Pete. Therefore Pete joins the air pirates aka. Panic!atd/MCR to save Patrick. They eventually do save Patrick, but they lose Patricks amulett to Gabe/William. Now the race of who first gets to land on Laputa beginns. In the end Pete and Patrick make it to Laputa but find the island in ruins and overgrown and it’s there where they realise why the citizens of Laputa have left the Island in the first place: Humans aren’t meant to live in the sky. But Agent Gabe/William who somehow managed to get there too is having none of that and tries to kill them. In the End Pete and Patrick recite the “spell of destruction” destroying the flying Island and killing Gabe/William (i’m sorry man don’t take it personally) with that spell too. Pete than flies Patrick home where they start a new life together.
