It has been a birthday of endless gifts! This weekend, what should arrive on my doorstep but author copies of my most recent book project! Hard to believe this is my third book project to come out in a year — but maybe that explains my eye twitches, hunched shoulders, and general exhaustion! Peter Lang, Isveç Stockholm Kraliyet Sanat Enstitüsü, Mimarlık Bölümünde mimarlık kuramı ve tarihi profesörüdür ve mimarlık, tasarım, multimedya lisanüstü araştırma programının yöneticisidir. Lang, lisansını Syracuse Universitesi mimarlıkta, doktorasını iste Italya tarihi ve kentleşme üzerine New York Universitesinden aldı (2000). Lang'ın çalışma alanı savaş sonrası Italyan mimarisi ve tasarımı, 1960'lar Italyan deneysel tasarım, medya ve çevre üzerine uzman. 1997den bu yana Roma'da bulunan  kentsel sanat araştırma grubu Stalker'in üyesidir. Lang, Superstudio: Life without Objects (2003) yazarı, Mortal City (1995), Suburban Discipline (1997) kitaplarının editörüdür. www.petertlang.net
