How is your character taking the unilateral decision to leave earth?
peter is taking the decision alright — he knew he volunteered himself to be in the rescue group too; he’s ready for this new change, especially if it’s for the best. besides he has all the excuse now to make sci-fi references!

Is your character dealing well with the prospect of life on a new planet? Are they scared? Concerned? Excited?
he’s a mix of scared and excited. peter is not as , “weathered” as everyone else around him. he’s scared because he’s scared for aunt may — worried and thinking about how she would fare, even though he was the one that made the decision. i suppose it’s natural to also be afraid of change. however, he’s excited because it’s not everyday that you get to move to go to a new planet
Is your character cooperating with the other groups, or fighting against these tentative new alliances?
it’s better to cooperate than fight against new alliances. unless he has to fight, then will fight
For those who are part of PROJECT NEW HOME; Is your character optimistic that their relocation will work out as intended?
peter is most definitely optimistic that the relocation will work out just fine. the amount of effort he’s seen gone into it — it’ll probably be highly unlikely that it won’t work.
If your character volunteered to be part of the first two groups to Orbulite, or the rescue group sent after them, why?
peter volunteered to be a part of the rescue group, because he was concerned for those that were on the planet, and also because he wished to help
