The blonde loup-garou rested her head against her locker door, still feeling last night’s adventures. Her body still ached and her head still felt heavy from the tiredness that came from the turn, but she was able to run freely and that’s all that mattered.
She hoped she’d find the wolf whose scent was all over this town, but she didn’t. It saddened her greatly and irked her mother more, this stranger being the reason that kept them in town for the extra few weeks.
She sighed, opened her locker, retrieved all she needed, put her sketchbook on top and slammed the door closed. She was about to go to class early and draw whatever came to her mind while she waited for the bell to go, but an extremely powerful yet familiar scent entered her nose. Slowly, she faced the direction it had come from.
Had she just found the wolf she’d been searching for? Her breathing became deep for a moment, taking in his smell, just to make sure. She would have spoken to him, but what she wanted to say couldn’t be heard by human ears.
