So, this little firecracker decided to be rude and she just up and left, which really upsets me. Since I really don’t like to push muses when they no longer want to exist, this blog is going to be indefinitely hiatused/archived, as I don’t want to lose threads, bio stuff and the works.

Anyways, I wanna thank everyone who took the time to have a look at my girl and as it’s not cool to be followed by archives, I’m gonna do you a favor and unfollow you all and stuff.

   In all honesty, Krystal wasn’t watching where she was    going as she strolled the streets of downtown los angeles.    She just wanted to find something to fuck up and it looks    like she’s found her fun. “Why don’t you watch where    you’re going, dickhead?” she told the other, looking up    directly into their eyes without a blink of regret.

Vivian didn’t like to get into fights, simply because she wasn’t that boisterous, but also because she knew she’d win. Being of loup-garou blood did have it’s perks. That and her former status, as well. She rose her hands up and smiled. “Woah, buddy. Chill the fuck out,” the smile was quick to fade, “and maybe look where you’re going too, that might do you a few favours.”

         as he finds his eyes trailing to her HANDS, curious now about whether          her middle and index fingers lined up the way his did, but he couldn’t          make a steady determination by the time she’d pulled her hand away.          it wasn’t a name that peter had heard before, not that he’d known any          other wolves. he did have memories of nicolae rambling about the           other wolf families back in romania. he looks back up and sees the           smile on her lips. peter feels uneasy suddenly in the presence of           another wolf, though he takes note of the nod she gives. subtly, peter          looks around before turning around to head out to the alley behind the           school. he places a cigarette in his lips as he walks, glancing behind           him to check that she was still following.

         as they come around to the alley, peter takes note of the fact that          all that had been said between the two were their names. peter           lights his cigarette, taking a hit before exhaling with a sigh. he looks          toward the wolf, toward  V I V I A N  with slight curiosity on his face.

                                   ❝rough night ?❞

         he says it flatly with the hint of a smirk. he’s curious as to how she          does it all, whether she travels with a pack, whether there were           more. last night peter had caught whiff of something new, but peter          knew better than to chase after his nose. he’d done enough hunting          for one lifetime. seems he didn’t need to hunt these ones out.

As they walked together, she noticed that a few people staring and jeering, but she didn’t give them as much as the baring of her teeth, she was tired, but in far too good of a mood to care. Once they found their spot, she placed her books on the ground and slide gracefully down the wall, only to look back up to Peter and smile weakly.

“My night was marvellous.” Her kind could shift at will, but nothing compared to the feeling of a full moon. The desire to change under the moon was so strong, that it would have been a crime to refuse. She never did, no one ever did. It felt nearly impossible too and running as a pack under the moon was one of the most amazing feelings on the planet, even though her pack wasn’t much of a pack these days. “And yours?” She smelt the faint scent of a few others while in her fur the previous night, but the smells were far too weak and old to really pick anything up.

“Are there any more of you here?” In all honesty, she was surprised that it took this long to find him and especially surprised that she hadn’t bumped into him under the moon. “I’m sorry of that seems invasive, I’m not used to meeting others, wolf-kind not of my pack, you know?” She pet the spot next to her. “Sit?”

                “Yeah, well. In my defense I didn’t think you’d hear me.”

“You have anything you wanna say to me while you’re at it or are we good?”

As Vivian was taught to not get involved with humans, that’s exactly what she did. Alone, she sat beneath a tree in the schoolyard and focused hard on the art she was making. She was roughly sketching wolves, internally laughing to herself. To all of those who would see her art, they’d assume the wolves were random, but they were the wolves she used to be friends with back home.

She was completely in her own world as she drew, very much oblivious to the person who was walking in her direction. That was, until the very strange scent entered her nose. She put her pen down and subtly tried to pinpoint just where it was coming from.

So much for a nice, relaxing trek through the woods. All her life she had felt most at home in the forest, but what was unfolding before her was quickly changing that. Danger hung in the air like a heat, and she did as the blonde directed, staying behind her. “Understood,” she answered, readying herself to take off at the girl’s direction. The best she could hope for is that the other girl had her best interest at heart.

The one thing Vivian was sure of in this moment was that Rafe knew she’d report his behaviour to the elders of the pack, very much the only reason he had to not to go through with the attack. He snarled at the blonde and Vivian took the slightest step back. “Run,” she whispered, her too balancing on her feet. Whether she ran with this one or ran for Rafe to prevent him from running at them, all came down to what the male wolf would actually do, so all Vivian could do at the moment was be the living buffer zone between them.

“Oh…” The warlock suddenly realized that he didn’t have a contingency plan for either answer she could have given. Oops. So Ryan laughed softly, looking sheepishly at the ground. “Oh, I was kinda hopin’ ya did. My parents run a dog kennel and need new clients.” Yeah, that was smooth. Right.

She looked the other up and down, not budging from her seat. Was this one able to pick up what she was and trying to offend the crap out of her? Because if this was his game plan, it was working. Her phone was rested on the table next to her to free her hand so her arms could cross over her chest. “Is that so?”

He cocked his head a little as his brows shot up, and finally he shrugged. ❝Can’t recall if I have or not.❞ And that was true – he prided himself on being to hone in on outsiders and their scents, but the city had gotten a fair influx of newcomers lately. He couldn’t remember picking up on a scent like this one’s, however, so he was going to assume for the time being that he’d had yet to cross paths with the older woman. He noticed the smile fade once he mentioned Santa Carla’s nickname, and it caused him to study her thoughtfully – what was that? Simple fear? No… Hm. Worth prodding a little, maybe.

He’d begun circling her then, arms kept behind his back. He picked up on the unease, too… it didn’t slow him down any; in fact, he seemed to smile. Good, she should at least remain uncertain around him. Her confirming that she didn’t know what he was caused him to shake his head in amazement; the girl had to have been one of the most sheltered wolves he’d ever stumbled across, he thought.

❝Vampire. Know what that is?❞ He asked with a quizzical expression, rounding her once more. When he stopped, his eyes flashed a gleaming amber, and the smile gave way to a grin so he could flash his fangs at her. But once he started pacing once more, the fangs had receded, human teeth glinting now as he continued to smirk, and his irises had returned to their bright blue. ❝And we are many here. We coexist with others, though, so long as everyone plays by the rules.❞

He stopped moving finally.

❝Now which can I expect outta you, hm?❞

Vampire. All she knew about that species was that they had an appetite of forbidden desire. That, and all the crap that they’d been through when it came to social media and how they were portrayed in movies, literature and everything in between. Both his kind and her kind were the main victims when it came to that. “Yes,” she half lied. Aunt Persia, the elder of the pack and the keeper of magics had told her and The Five stories of this kind when they were cubs, but Vivian always assumed that they were stories told to keep her and them from misbehaving. Look how much it actually did. Absolutely nothing.

When she got her glimpse at the vampire’s natural face, eyes amber and fangs elongated, her default response, due to having to tell the boys to back off so many times before, was to bare her own teeth. Nothing turned threatening, no teeth became fangs and no eyes changed colours, as she needed to convince David she meant no harm, so her features remained perfectly human while her teeth were for show.

Her mouth closed over her teeth and her arms crossed over her chest. The old her would have more than likely laughed in this one’s face, knowing her father would come to her rescue if she did break a rule and punish her on his own terms, but as he was no longer alive, that wouldn’t be the case at all. In the old home, the simple breaking of rules lead to the deaths of two innocent humans, the execution of a wolf and a fire that ended up taking her father away from her because he had to make sure everyone escaped the inn. The former princess looked saddened for a brief moment but she concealed it all before she started speaking again.

“You won’t even know we’re here.” Other than her mother and her antics, Vivian intended on keeping a very low profile. This trip was meant to be a time for them to heal, mourn and be distracted by anything and everything, not reopening old wounds. “We won’t be a problem.”

“For a few weeks…” B knit her brow together as she explained that her sister was fairly new to the whole… Werewolf thing. Meanwhile, Ginger simply shook her head in disbelief, crossed her arms, and averted her gaze. She didn’t have time for this shit. In her eyes, nothing could fix her.

Vivian had no experience with bitten wolves, as with her people, it was only a story that humans could be turned, never actually tried though. Her arms crossed over her chest and she went back to staring at the ginger haired wolf. “Are you aware that people train their whole lives to kill people like us?” The question was asked bluntly, but she wasn’t going to be fucking around if this woman brought any forms of danger to her pack.

“See, Ginger? She’s like you. Maybe she can help–”

“Nobody is LIKE me.” Ginger took a menacing step forward towards the blonde. “I’m a goddamned forced of nature. This chick is jack shit.”

“I don’t out myself to anyone, but clearly need help.” There was the slight baring of her teeth, her words reminding her of two wolves in her age group. “The last thing you want to end up is like Axel and Rafe. Let me help you.”

Her face when from fierce to calm as she went from sister to sister. “How long’s she been like this?”

The seat across from him being taken was rather unexpected. It was the blonde girl and now that she was closer, he could get her scent much better. One of the perks and curses of heightened senses. She smelled like Josh. Well, not exactly Josh, but more like how Josh, Nora, and the other wolves. Like dogs.

“Hi,” he chuckled, leaning back in his seat. He wondered if there was something specific she wanted? Maybe they’d met before and he just couldn’t remember? Probably not the latter. “Is there… something I can help you with?” Aidan asked, pushing a polite smile onto his face.

Now that he was closer to her, the scent was becoming more familiar to her. It wasn’t a smell she’d smelt often at all, but after meeting the creepy as fuck blond guy with the trench coat in Santa Carla, how could she forget a smell like it? That whole situation still made her wiggy, even though she masked it professionally.

“And you’re not even going to offer me a drink?” She kept up with appearances. Back home, she had the wolves and humans alike on her tail, as she was a very desirable girl, so she used that to help with the whole blending in thing. Casually, she decided to start the conversation, obviously leaving out certain keywords. “So, my mother and I,” her eyes looked over to the woman, mid-forties and surrounded by men, just like it was when she was queen, “we’re new in town and we’re wondering what sorts of people we’ll find?”

He needs a place to sit, just to hang out and relax. Somewhere he’s very unlikely to run into anyone he knows and somewhere away. He doesn’t want to go back to the apartment yet. The bar doesn’t seem like a bad option at the moment, and he pushes open the door, shrugging off his leather jacket and finding a place to sit. Slowly, his gaze makes it’s way around the room, getting a good look at everyone in the place. No one he recognizes so far, which is good.

There’s something, or rather someone, that does catch his eye though. A blonde, who looks like she’s probably not old enough to be there but who knows, he’s shit at guessing ages. It’s not the only thing he notices though and his nostrils flare briefly before he turns his gaze away, smiling at the bartender and ordering a drink (mostly for appearance’s sake).

Finally, after searching through the scents of everything, the nervous sweats of men and their women, alcohol breath and moon only knew what else, she was able to pin point the owner of the strange smell. Even though she didn’t mean to, she ended up staring for a few brief moments. He looked human, but that smell definitely wasn’t what the humans back home smelt like at all. It was kind of gross, in all honesty.

Even though she knew it’d look extremely inappropriate, she got to her feet and darted through a few people to join the leather jacket guy in the seat opposite him. She didn’t know what to say or anything, as her pack’s biggest rule was to blend in, a rule she took extremely seriously. For the sake of appearances, she crossed a leg over the other and smirked mildly flirtatiously at the male, hoping he’d start a conversation with her to save them from the awkwardness. At least if her mother saw this, she’d get off her back.

“Um… Do you own a dog…?” He could smell fur, but he didn’t want to make assumptions. Girls can be touchy, especially wolves, and he rather likes having his throat in one piece.

With on leg crossed over the other, Vivian was seated, minding her own business completely. Then that question was asked and she rose a brow. “No?”

The young loup-garou was sitting be herself in the bar, too young to be there and watching her mother flirt with men half her age. She knew it was part of her grieving process and everything, but it was damn embarrassing when she tried to pull her in and flirt with men too old for her.

She considered leaving to wait outside, but a strange scent entered her nostrils. Curiosity sparked within and she looked around, trying to spot the owner without looking to strange or suspicious, having to remind herself that sniffing air wasn’t a normal human behaviour.
