Just a little something I worked on a couple of weeks ago at the Vermont Sci-Fi & Fantasy Expo. A birthday tribute to Sir Ian McKellen, who portrayed Marvel Comics's all-time greatest villain character, Magneto. That "bad guy" whose viewpoint you can totally understand --and may even decide to actively support. (Pen and ink, 10.5 in. x 6.625 in.)

Inktober Day 13. I can't articulate how much I adore Caroll Spinney and his work. Besides sharing a birthday with Big Bird, I renew my Grouch Club(TM) membership annually, with greater relish each year. Now scram.

That moment when you see YOUR product on a ginormous screen... right next to the Star Wars and the Marvel toys. [meaningful nerdy moment]
I know #captainmarvel is who's on everyone's mind just now, but I just HAD to make sure the awesomeness of THIS character is not overlooked. Dinah Madani (as portrayed by the actor Amber Rose Revah) is the best new original character to emerge from the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Ming-Na Wen's Melinda May. Agent Madani's character arc is every bit as compelling as that of any superhero and I dearly hope her adventure isn't done.
