i just got overwhelmed by peter/balth feelings?? because like as much as i acknowledge that there are problematic aspects to their relationship & the series at large, honestly no pairing has ever given me more. like where else have i gotten sonnets and songs and slow inevitable descent into love?? where else have i ever seen a queer love story so emphasized and fleshed out and focused on?? where else have i seen two three-dimensional, fully-realized queer characters slowly work out their problems and start a relationship and bE HAPPY TOGETHER?? not as a side pairing, or a wink-and-a-nod, or as a convenient love interest inserted at the last minute for the token gay character, but as a real story?? honestly @thecandlewasters peter and balthazar matter to me so much and i can’t thank you enough

look friends i too wish that i had gotten ~6 hours of dialogue between Peter and Smol Ukelele and then ~2 of them making out, but this way kind of makes a lot of sense? they’ve been friends for 6 years, they know each other really well, peter told him how he felt in a form that balthazar understands, and you can rly pack a lot into 4 sentences of dialogue if you’ve been close for a long time. still want a solo balth vid and several hours of being-cute footage tho @ candle wasters get on it

i have a deep and dark and secret hope that we will get a video of peter and balthazar performing "new beginning" together and that peter will do a tiny smile and bump his forehead into balthazar's shoulder at the end like an embarrassed kitten

god, the way balthazar vs peter reacted to the jacquie thing was so INTERESTING. like, balthazar is standing in the doorway as they swordfight looking totally unperturbed, and his demeanor doesn’t show anything besides slight awkwardness re: “i slept with jacquie.” peter, though, looks totally gutted when he realizes balthazar heard that. it comes out looking like balthazar knows peter will have casual sex and that’s not what upsets him at all- peter just thinks balthazar gets mad about him sleeping with people. really, balthazar only gets upset at the idea of being a fling himself. balthazar accepts peter 2k15

all im saying is that if balthazar doesn't answer his phone and peter is trying to contact him via youtube videos, it's entirely possible that he could upload a recording of something, like a sonnet, maybe a sonnet he wrote for balthazar, as a way to tell him how he feels when he can't contact him directly. love confession/sonnet recital video. that's all im saying
