Ok. So. PeteTay/VegasPeteTay. Biu and Us being kpop dance cover besties makes me so stinking happy I can't breathe??? And so what do you think is that bonding thing that Pete and Tay have - that they get so happy and giggly at - that makes Vegas just look at them with so much wonder that these beautiful rays of light have deigned to shine on his blackened heart? Cuz they're for sure besties as well as boyfies, right???

Honestly that's the whole dynamic right there: Pete gets someone to giggle with, and Vegas gets to make heart eyes at two people who make his heart feel full!

I actually think PeteTay could giggle over Kinn a lot. They're gossips. Both were a witness to Kinn pursuing Porsche. They can swap stories. And now Kinn is trying to pursue Big as well! But does he even know he is? PeteTay: Oh absolutely not, we need to get popcorn and see how Porsche orchestrates this.

That aside, I think Pete and Tay could bond over simple things and find joy and love in the way it's so refreshingly mundane - liking similar movies, having a similar gremlin sense of humour. They love to watch Vegas cook, love being spoiled by him, and they all love cooking shows. Tay has an apitute and fascination with design - comes with having a string of hotels to his family name - and loves the dark, artistic flair in Vegas as much as he loves seeing Pete inspire it. Pete, meanwhile, loves to be egged on. I think Pete actually has a lot of the qualities Tay wanted Time to grow into: self-assurance, competency, charm. But Pete can also be silly, dependable, sympathetic, in the way Tay needs just as much as Pete needs those qualities in Tay too. He doesn't make Tay feel ashamed for his own flair, the way Time did. Pete is right there with him.
