Pete Davidson showed a level of maturity that some arianators™ could never. He knew his relationship with Ariana was pretty much over when Mac died but he still decided to be by Ariana's side until she had enough of him and didn't need/want him anymore.
We never talk about his pov. We never talk about how much this dude had to endure because he was so in love with Ariana that he decided to stay with her even when she was completely fucked up by mac's death. He understood that this death was a major wake up call for Ariana and her feelings for Malcom and he still stood by her side. Imagine seeing someone that you thought was the love your life suffer while realizing that this person is still in love with someone who passed away.
