I’m still recovering from my second vaccine so I don’t really have room for the Sunday Sads tonight, which is a welcome change- but at what cost??
Anyway, to combat the ick, I’ve been working on gratitude, which is sometimes very hard and sometimes not hard. Today, it’s been surprisingly easy. Today I am grateful for Dolly Parton, my fat cat, my handsome husband, the ability to serve mankind by doing my part to stop the spread of Covid. Grateful for my comfy bed and my handmade blankets, for good health and for the hope that I can see family, friends and my tattoo artist in 13 days.
I hope your evening mood improves, and if it doesn’t, that you know that’s ok and that the arms of your tumblr mutuals (i.e. me) are gently around you, with love and gratitude to spare. ❤️

My brain and I have been in a bit of a way, lately, which is not unique to me nor unique to this period of time, but your list of things to be grateful for is such a good one. And this is a great reminder to me and to anyone else that gratitude helps us navigate our inner worlds, and it touches the world around us.

yes, ive been watching, and yeah i agree its not great... not even really good. the ryan murphy bitchiness is fun to watch, but when they try to make truman and the others like... sympathetic... i wasnt feeling it. like i want to hate watch all these ridiculous people not feel bad for them. it was going well for a couple episodes, but than took a nose dive. theres nothing more catty and fun like fuckin cancer lol at the end of every episode, i was like... ohgod theres another one? lol so im kinda glad its over next week. but yea, i was excited for the cast, and they are all great actors, but im just not feeling where its all going.
and yea, thats where i got that screenshot, from some video i searched of the real truman capote drunk on some talk show. you can see that whole thing, and its kinda fucked.

the part these jagoffs are seeming to obsess with in the tags is the last scene where jaime rides into winterfell and immediately sees and recognizes bran. first the fuck off (i know its just a stupid show but this stupid shit just pisses me off) jamie is essentially riding into enemy territory, and just as he gets off his horse he recognizes bran fucking stark from across the fuckin whatever while tons of other people mill about! REALLY?!?! i mean how many times did jamie fucking lannister actually look that deeply into bran starks 10 year old fucking face to remember and recognize him as a 35 year old man (god, it feels like at least 20 goddamn years) and ok maybe by the wheelchair, MAYBE! but why would he piece that together immediately after getting off his horse and from across the fuckin square or whatever that goddamn place is called. fuckin hell. give me a goddamn break. a better more realistic scene would be jamie walking right by him, BECAUSE HIS FUCKIGN MIND IS ALREADY PREOCCUPIED WITH WALKING INTO ENEMY TERRITORY AND WOULDNT REMEMBER A GODDAMN CHILD WHOS LIKE 10 YEARS OLDER, and then bran grabs him and has to remind him who the fuck he is. jfc!!!!
