Fisherwoman!Anetra is very sentimental, and keeps a few reminders of thoselong gone. Her grandfather's coat, her grandmother's knife, the fishing nets her father knit, the angel callers her mother made. Anything else in her small house is purely necessary.
Mermaid!Mirage, on the other hand, becomes fascinated by human artifacts and starts several collections. She likes bottle caps of different colors and keeps a box of corks, purely because she likes the texture. Anetra brings her something every day from the market, bracelets and necklaces and beads that Mirage braids in her hair. One day, Mirage learns that plants canbe brought inside, and Anetra stops being able to see the walls of the house.
17. What is their ideal vacation like?
Mirage gets very intrigued by the mountains. She wants to walk through clouds. Anetra has never been that far from home and it sounds fun, if complicated. She wonders how much money it would cost to buy the silence of a carriage driver who could take them all the way up the mountains and keep quiet about Mirage's tail.

They stayed out clubbing and missed the last train. The next bus won't come for an hour. A cab's a bit expensive, and Anetra could easily walk home in his comfortable boots, but not with Mirage complaining about her high heels every two minutes until he offers to carry her on his back. Plus, it's cold, and he brought a jacket but Mirage did not, and he knows how that ends. So, cab it is.

Fake dating:
They learn to smoke together (and to hide it from their parents). They completely cut it out once Anetra's parents kick him out of the house and Mirage's parents take him in (out of respect for the house, but also fear that it would make the Amuros kick him out too). He starts smoking again once he moves out, and she mostly smokes from his supply but brings him edibles as special treats sometimes.

With so many seasons airing concurrently, it's not easy to watch it all. I love that so many countries have the opportunity to show off their drag scenes, which kind of leads me to a question since I've been sticking to just a few of the franchises while letting the rest go.

i know, it's a lot to keep up with! i think i need to set start setting reminders for the episodes because i keep losing track of time and forgetting about them. i have some gaps in franchises from last year where i fully forgot to watch an episode 😅 (including the uk5 finale 🫣)
out of curiosity, which franchises did you decide to keep up with??
as for my favourites from the last 6 months... belgique s2 is definitely up there-- i know it's not exactly well favoured in the wider fandom but i just feel like that franchise has a lot of heart?? overall i really enjoyed it; the cast were great, we had some amazing runways and an acting challenge that was actually well written! the judging is questionable but things always seemed to work out in the end so i'm not too mad about that!
i really enjoyed canada season 4. they seemed to have found their footing with this season, it felt really fresh and fun. that being said it's kind of a blur to me now -- i'm gonna have to rewatch it sometime!
and i'm loving ukvstw2; i was so happy when i saw the cast reveal! i still can't quite believe we have marina and lgd in one season. i'm just really happy these queens are getting an international platform and gaining new fans!! it's so exciting watching people fall in love with your favs 💗
and gosh.. there are so many international queens i wish got more attention!!! i could write an essay and honestly i did, but it got way too long because i'm incapable of not rambling 😅

A/N: It's been a while since I last posted here on AQ, but it's good to be back. Especially with unapologetic smut. You can also read the fic on AO3.
Summary: Sasha and Anetra have a bit of fun in a hot tub.
Anetra finally relaxed in the water. It had been a long day running around for nothing, with people rushing to get things done. Get in drag, pose, change clothes, pose, an interview followed by way too many phone calls. His usual routine of dedragging didn't feel relaxing like it usually did.
The water jets calmed everything down, and the company he was in wasn't half bad either. The sun was still barely out, the last rays giving out their remaining warmth. Soon it'd be dark, and the only thing illuminating the deck would be the lamps attached to the house.
Sasha took a greedy gulp of the champagne bottle, this time without grimacing. Whoever bought the wine they had been drinking must have had terrible taste, or they were dead broke. Maybe even both.
Her eyes were closed as she leaned back. She was having the time of her life, taking over most of the tub for herself, while Anetra had resigned to being crammed against the wall in the corner. Anetra glanced over at her, there was no harm in looking after all. Most of Sasha's gorgeous body was covered by the water and the suds, with only the slightest bit of her skin peeking through the surface.
Sasha was at her most beautiful whenever she was carefree, a rare sight these days. She was always working, either at a bar, for a photoshoot or the million interviews she had been invited to after she had won. She always told him not to worry, that she was used to working hard. But Anetra could see the toll it took on her, always having to perform for a camera.
"If you're going to stare at me like that, make yourself useful," Sasha said cheerfully. She opened up her eyes to look back at Anetra, with that darn smile that always got him weak.
That was another thing Anetra felt grateful for, to be able to see Sasha being her old playful self with no pretenses. Just the two of them with no cameras.
Sasha poked him with her foot.
"Hey! What's that for?" Anetra yelped, the water squelched as he turned towards her.
"I'm hungry," Sasha said, but not for what. "Feed me."
"I think that crown went to your head," Anetra said, shaking his head. Well, if Sasha wanted something to eat, who was he to deny her? He picked up one of the chocolate covered strawberries that was on a plate on the edge of the tub. "Here, open up."
He put the strawberry directly into her mouth, the edge of his fingers caught by her lips. Instead of letting him go, Sasha grabbed his wrist to hold it still. The wet heat enveloped his fingers as she sank down to lick the sweet juice off his skin. She didn't stop until she hit the last knuckle and moaned.
She was going to be the death of him, he was sure.
"You're enjoying this way too much," Anetra chuckled. Sasha still held him captive, even as she had let go of his hand.
"Maybe. There has to be some perks to treating you, right?"
Anetra offered Sasha another strawberry, this time without a fuss.
Sasha took another swig of the bottle. With the way she had been hoarding it, it was a wonder she wasn't drunk or at the very least buzzed yet.
"You want some? Let mama treat you for being so good for me." Sasha couldn't keep a straight face. She shook the bottle in front of his face.
"Sure."
Anetra leaned forward as Sasha put the bottle to his lips. It tasted as terrible as he remembered. A droplet slid down its neck once he had his fill of the vile substance. The only thing that made it worth drinking was the woman in front of him.
Anetra took hold of the bottle to take it from her, but she didn’t want to let go. She was looking at him intently, waiting for his next move. Gently, Anetra kissed the top of the bottle, eyes locked on Sasha. He stuck out his tongue, dragging it slowly across the neck to catch the runaway spill. Mouth slightly agape, Anetra made a show of pleasing the bottle, as if the thing that was in his mouth was Sasha and not a piece of glass. He didn't break eye contact for even a second as he sank down, taking the head of the bottle into his mouth and hollowed out his cheeks.
Sasha's breath hitched.
Breaking free from the spell Anetra had put her in, Sasha moved away from her spot. Her knees hit the wall of the tub, with her arms perched over the edge for support. Anetra was right there besides her, their legs touching just barely. A knot had started forming within her. If she as much as looked at Anetra's face, she didn't know what she'd do.
With Sasha's back now exposed, Anetra slid behind her. He rested his chin against her shoulder. His arms wrapped around her, holding her from behind. His hands were barely shy of touching her between her legs, but not yet.
His own wants had begun to stir.
"What's with you, all of a sudden," Sasha said. Her heart ticked loudly, if it wasn't for the water, she was sure Anetra could hear her. Embarrassing. She wasn't a horny teenager anymore.
"Nothing, nothing. I'm just enjoying our time together," Anetra hummed. He knew exactly what he was doing. "Since you paid for it and all."
"I did, didn't I? I guess that makes me your sugar mama."

"Or maybe not." Sasha retracted her statement. That wasn't the kind of relationship they had, or the kind she wanted. What exactly she wanted wasn't entirely clear to herself either. Playing along in their little fantasy would do for now.
She couldn't hold back the small moans that left her as Anetra dragged his hands all over her body, save for the parts where she increasingly needed them to be.
His hand wrapped around her length, stroking her gently. His lips had left her neck for a brief moment of respite, offering the sweet relief she so desperately needed.
With his other hand, Anetra turned Sasha's head to catch her in a kiss. Slow and meticulous, yet still in full control. If he focused hard enough, he would have sworn he could still taste the strawberry on her tongue, swirled in decadent chocolate.
Sasha was an indulgence. Every single part of her. From her supple skin and pliable lips, to the sweetest of moans that escaped them.
Sasha barely moved her hips, she allowed him full control as he took it.
But she still wanted more. So much more.
Sasha broke free from the kiss. "Honey, I need–" Sasha broke down mid sentence, needing to gather her breath before she could continue. "I need a bit more than a reach around to have fun."
That caught Anetra's attention immediately.
"I didn't peg you for the impatient type."
Sasha harrumphed at him, not deigning to give him a proper answer. Not that she needed to, Anetra was already pressing his half hard erection against her backside, and it was only a matter of time before she got what she wanted.
Water wouldn't be conductive for what she was asking for, but that had never stopped Anetra before. Anetra grabbed Sasha by the hips, dragging her down to sit on his thigh. Anetra didn't need to see to know where Sasha needed him the most.
Despite the resistance from the water, Sasha easily took his fingers. The quiet moans turned louder with each addition, and with every pump of his hand, Sasha came closer to her climax.

Anetra still didn't get it. Oh, well. Not that it mattered.
"I think I've had enough," Sasha said, putting the bottle down. She stood up with a slight wobble to get out. This time, it was Anetra's eyes that followed her. "Care to join me for bed?"
Anetra got up as well, almost losing his balance when he got out. Sasha offered a hand of support.
