  It had hardly been believable when it all went to hell, Carlson and the rest of the folk locked up in that prison had been left to rot and fend for themselves. It had been chaotic, but Carlson had given them the slip when the walkers had finally broke through the walls. He’d ran far without even looking back, wanting to see the outside world, no matter how horrid it might be now. 

Somewhere along the way he had met Dallas, a young, cute guy that had been in the need of saving. Despite his first instinct to just leave him there, he didn’t. Saving him from a crowd of the undead and the pair had been together ever since. Frankly it should have taken Carlson a little longer before he ever thought about making a move, but it had been several days since meeting him and the pair had found running water and decided to shower. There he had saw the younger guy naked and he couldn’t help himself. He’d been locked up for years, he’d missed the feeling of anything close to that.

It had become routine even, when they found a new place, secured it and what not to just spend some...time together, to remind themselves that it’s not all doom and gloom.
