What kind of nonsensical challenge was this? Nevertheless, Ain refused to back out of it. He grabbed one of the chairs in the classroom, and brought it out in the hallway. He then laid on the ground and grabbed the chair with both hands before lifting it up into the air—and then bringing it back down to him, and repeat.

and it’s unmistakable, he looks at his assignment again, and there it is- the glaring mistake in the upper left hand corner. sooooooo embarassing, especially in front of this ridiculously pretty teacher, trying her best to look sympathetic, probably, but it just made him even more flustered.

“well... thank you for pointing it out, i won’t do it again.... haha.” he really wished he could sink into the floor right now.

“sorry to make you see this side of me, miss harnier!” but for extra brownie points maybe he could try to capitalise on this mistake...

“i was careless, but i don’t mean for that to look like i don’t care about your class! i really do! i love your lessons! i’ll pay... extra attention to this kind of thing from now on. let’s make a pinkie promise, i swear? ahaha~”

   Dear Harnier,

Welcome to Hiraeth Academy. Due to your great accomplishments in your own world, we have taken the liberty of summoning you here to Hiraeth in hopes that you will aid us in shaping the minds of those less experienced with their special abilities. We ask that you please report to the Headmistress’s office after reading this letter, so that you can receive a full briefing of what is expected of you. We are certain that your prowess with Elemental Magic will benefit those attending our academy. You will become their instructor, a guiding hand that will lead them down what we hope will be the right path.

You will be housed in our specialized staff housing, in room B-103, located in a building separate from the school, tucked away on the western side of campus. After you have seen to visiting the Headmistress, you are welcome to visit there any time to replenish your energy and have a break from teaching. You will be asked to introduce yourself to the students at the next meal, so please come prepared.
