Ho Ho Hold it right there ... photos of your pet with Santa are from 1 to 4 p.m. this Saturday (Dec. 8) and again next weekend at PetCo on Veterans Memorial Drive, Batavia. Proceeds go to Volunteers For Animals, a nonprofit that helps out dogs and cats at Genesee County Animal Shelter. The photo above originally had Santa hats, but a kind photographer added the sombreros for a bit of warmth in the wintry season. Pictured is my late dog Scooter, who was just the best friend a gal could ask for! He loved to play, snuggle, go for rides in the car and greet people in tail-wagging fashion. If you’re looking for a new four-legged family member, please check out your local SPCA or animal shelter.
