An escape from the crazy | Puck
School had been unnecessarily long today and add on the morning practice that Vocal Adrenaline practice that Jesse informed them that they had to have forcing Evelyn to miss her English quiz only made the day seem longer. After pleading with Mrs. Arnez to let her retake the quick that happened to be thirty percent of her grade, Evelyn made her way out of the school building in a huff and made her way to the black Range Rover, a gift from the parent board, and only had one destination in mind to get her mind off everything completely wrong with her life. If anyone knew how wrong the whole concept of Vocal Adrenaline was, it was Evelyn. But you didn't speak out against the team. That was practically suicide.
The range rover pulled into the small parking lot and the blond hopped out of the driver's seat, locked up the car and made her way into Joey's Pizza and Arcade. It was the one place in Ohio that Evelyn was willing to drive for miles just to get a slice of pepperoni and play a few games of pinball. She stepped inside and waved to Joey Jr. to let him know to get her usual order ready as she made her way further into the small establishment. She slung her leather coat over a chair before she went to the Star Wars pin ball machine. She placed in a quarter and started to play. At least VA was good for one thing. Her reflexes made it so she was still the one player with the highest score.
