RDJ has a message for y'all.
A message from the esteemed ambassador from Veleno. He's a sweet talker.
In which members of Space Vampire greet humanity and implore you to join us at the show on 3/19. At the Carousel Lounge. Rock.
Getting There: Half The Fun?
So you're doing up the downtown scene for most of SXSW but you'd like to come check out the bands at PExATx? Or maybe you want to ake the most of the Carousel Lounge's BYO hard liquor situation? In any case, if you don't want to deal with driving here's some info that might help...
Uber Fare Estimator
Lyft Fare Estimator
Yellow Cab Fare Estimator
Using the above links it looks the cost to get to the Carousel Lounge from 6th and Congress would be:
$10-15 using Uber
$9-17 using Lyft
$12.50-17.75 using Yellow Cab
Your mileage may vary, of course. To help offset those costs, consider the following:
Lyft, SXSW’s official ridesharing partner, is offering a $10 credit with promo code “BUDSXSW” to new and existing users.
A cool guy we know shared the code Enjoy1515 with us that we think will get you a free ride with Uber.
However you get there, we look forward to seeing yer face at PExATx!

Remember! BYO Hard Liquor To The Carousel Lounge
In case you're not familiar with the concept, the Carousel Lounge is what we in Texas call a set up bar. That means they sell beer and wine and "set ups" for mixed drinks. But not hard liquor. So if you want to drink whiskey, vodka, tequila, gin, etc., you'll need to bring your own. Foruntately, there are a number of liquor stores in the vicinity. Check out this handy map to help you find one.
