Thoughts on OutdoorBoiler.com Article: "Can PEX Be Used in Commercial Plumbing?" - Need Real-World Takes
Has anyone bothered to read OutdoorBoiler.com's article on using PEX in commercial plumbing? I'm not interested in marketing fluff, but the points about flexibility and reduced connections caught my eye.
If you've actually used PEX in a commercial setting – hotels, multi-family units, whatever – what's your take? Did it hold up? Any issues with code compliance or long-term durability? And did you actually save time and money, or was it just another overhyped solution?
I expect specific examples and actual experiences, not just regurgitated talking points. If you haven't used it, don't waste my time.
