Peyton Fallow wasn't born on Foundation's Neutral Zone. She moved there for the career opportunities and promise of elite education that would give her the tools to change the world. When hell broke loose, she swore to uncover everything Foundation was hiding.

With the assistance of Galahad , a repurposed security robot reprogrammed to be her peppy sidekick, she works tirelessly to fit all the pieces together to see what the full puzzle looks like. While Peyton is more than happy to hit the ground running with no pause, Galahad keeps her fed and her living situation clean. It's some of the many perks of having a near-indestructible fighting machine programmed to be a caretaker.

In a parallel Earth, there exists a manmade island commissioned by a powerful organization composed of the world's top scientists and dreamers. They called themselves 'Foundation' and would use this manmade island - simply called The Neutral Zone - as a paradise where they can live freely and fast-track the world into a new age of prosperity. Things don't work out the way they intended. It's up to Peyton Fallow, a young woman whose past is connected to Foundation, to unravel the mysteries surrounding The Neutral Zone and the many factions and individuals vying to seize the hidden technological treasure troves within it.
