A year ago today, Jameson and I were grumpy about being back home following a perfect Disney vacation, so we decided to go look at puppies to cheer ourselves up. We were totally unprepared to actually take one home, so we intentionally left our car behind to ensure we couldn't leave with a dog. A couple hours later, this tiny 12-week-old pit pup newly named Peyton belonged to us. Impulse decisions generally aren't my thing, but sometimes you just know.
