Gave the e28 a bath last night. Last time it was 'washed' was when I first got it last year and it was raining on the way home. Lol on a side note, I need to get side skirts asap. That alpina wannabe look is bugging me.
Sharp Shark One of my favourite shots of the E28. So crisp!
Kinda helped that I borrowed a fancy Canon L-Series lens - real gear is just so nice to use.
Stockbroker in a Tracksuit The E28 528i M was a limited edition 'special' produced for the Australian market in 1983-84. There were no locally available ///M cars in the early 80s so these pre-dated the M535i and M5 (never sold in Australia). They were essentially 'sports' specification 528i cars from the factory (5-speed, LSD, Recaro seats, Bilstein shocks, 15" BBS Style-5s) which were then fitted with the Pfeba 'M-Sport' spoilers front and rear, stripe kits and ///M badges in Australia.
My car now has a 3.5L Alpina head conversion on the M30 (plus headers and exhaust), 16x9.5 Alpina classics and Spax springs. It makes a glorious noise and is still a hoot to drive at 30.
