Cinestill XX has become one of my favorite black and white film stocks and I have to admit, it does not hold a candle next to a classic like Ilford HP5. Especially when shot with Sophie! Every image comes out so buttery smooth. Even the blurs are pleasant.
I shot this roll right before I started my job back between late January and mid February. I remember telling myself I wouldn't have much time for photo walks or anything much photography related so my wanting to walk the Brooklyn bridge had to happen 'Now or Never.'
I can't remember the last time I waled on the Brooklyn bridge. However long it had been, I knew I never shot a single frame of film on the bridge.
Possibly my favorite shot was od the woman selling churros or something 20 feet away from a "No Vending Allowed' sign lol. The rest of the roll was shot throughout a few different spots in The Bronx and Pennsylvania. Can you guess which ones are where?!
I've shared with ya the challenge it is ti shoot with a rangefinder. Rangefinders are the vintage Ferraris of the film Camera world, lol. So naturally there's a big high that I get when I see that the roll I shot wasn't completely wasted. I got about 18 or so shots from this roll that I really liked. Id say that's a high success rate!! Hope ya Enjoy! Eno Bull Photography
