so. what does the Q stand for in pokefarm q.

I’m not actually creative or funny enough to make up my own Q name, so have a story from our dear admin Sei instead. Now, you need to know, I love Sei. She’s the best.  

But wow. She knows how to drive someone up a wall. 

So picture this, staff chat, approximately 3 am my time (and 2 am Constantine/Garthic time), Sei chimes in with a happy: 

“so, we bacme PFQ because it sounds like PF2, rightwhen/if we have a third installment.. PF3... PFT...”

Imagine chaos. Both Connie and I just driven up a wall how 2 does not sound like Q. Not at all. Garth of course, sided with Sei. Just to mess with us further. Sei and Connie sent voice messages to prove their points and all. Everyone was screaming to make their opinion known. 

Garthic is still enjoying to mess with us with a 

Garthic: Connie. Garthic: You're Q cute.

In the end, it was of course all a joke. But yeah. Please never ask me what the Q stands for, because that was a very memorable 3 am and I will never be able to think of anything else.

Hi! I was doing a shiny hunt for Vulpixes, and in the Daycare, had at least 85 eggs - many more Alolan than normal, as I was simply hunting the regular ones. After PFQ was fixed, I checked and saw they were gone. My question is - are they gone or just released to the shelter?

They should have been released to the Shelter. Eggs in the DayCare time out after, I think, a day and get released. 

At least I hope there was no issue with the server being down. I also had Eggs in my DayCare and kept them til after the servers were back, so it should have been a normal release!

Hi! Do you know if there's any way to recover our passwords from PF1? I just found out today that we can transfer pokemon and I've been trying to link the accounts!

Yeah ok, I see your post about hiding a link to a mature blog that's for 18+ and I was wondering if there's anything for 15+? or do I just have to put a disclaimer (which is kind of what already have)? or should I just avoid linking it altogether? I'm currently 15 and I tend to reblog a lot of stuff with cussing in it, and yeah, I'd rather not get reported for something like that.

Not linking at all is the way to go. PFQ is a child-friendly game, therefore everything posted publicly has to be appropriate for children to see. This includes advertised content.

Is there any way to make hatching shinies easier without the pokeradar?

There are, but they are far less effective without a PokéRadar(+). I have written a pretty extensive guide on shiny hunting, so I don’t want to go too much into detail. 

The short answer is: Übercharm and Shiny Charms can be used to increase Shiny Chances, but without a PokéRadar and an active chain of 35/40 your chances are so small that doubling them won’t do much.
