Betts, I seem to be forgetting about this Secret Santa business...I think I'm throwing my chances of being the best one ever. Anyway, here's a pumpkin pie. I wrapped it carefully, so if it's a mess by the time you get it, blame it on the bird. -S.S.

It's easily done, I'll admit that I've been slacking on mine a little too, I keep getting things ready and then putting off going up to the Owlery to send them. Pumpkin pie? You do spoil me. It's managed to stay mostly together, actually. A bit of it is looking a little squashed in, but I'm sure it will still taste fine. You won't mind if I share it with Aurora, will you?

Darling Dirk dared to dance with Diggory one dark day when Defense Against the Dark Arts seemed too disparaging to deal with. He ducked out of class and dilly dallied to his dormitory. Distracted by the decadent paintings, he failed to notice the dashing Diggory come his way. Before he could dash away, Dirk found himself duped. Diggory planted a deep, dewy kiss on Dirk and darted off, declaring that Dirk didn't disappoint. -SS
