Vin goes to a hidden balcony to overlook the party
Guy who is fancy but not too fancy shows up
He’s got a book that’s too big for his pocket but doesn’t care, he made it fit anyway
He gives some dumb “witty” line about her being pretty
He just wants to stand by the light to read his book, he’s at a party and literally brought a book to read
He apologizes for making her feel bad for taking his spot while he was getting a drink and scootches back into his reading light
Immediately is absorbed back into his book
Conclusion: I like this guy already
