2015 PGA Show
Tomorrow marks that start of the 2014 PGA Show in Orlando. Like many golf fans, I wish I was there. I even tried to get a Fantasy Golf bet with Gary Williams last year on twitter. He didn't respond, but who could blame him.
Today's demo day had me day dreaming about the new products that are out there and what setup I would have if money was not object. If I had the chance to walk into the show tomorrow and restock my bag with all new gear, here's what I would go with (all items were chosen based on performance and the way they set up). If any manufacturers reading this and wanted to send me something, my irons and hybrids are .5 inches longer.
Driver - Toss up Ping G30 and the Nike Vapor.
Fairway Wood (3W) - Callaway XRSpeed (maybe 3 Deep)
Hybrids (3, 4, and 5) - Yes, I'm a weak hitter and need three hybrids. Callaway Big Bertha
Irons - TaylorMade RSi 1 6 - PW
Wedges - 50 Vokey TVD, 55 Cleveland 588 RTX 2.0, 60 Ping Glide
Putter - I really love my putter, but since I'm getting a free one I'd go with a Odyssey Metal X-Milled #1 Wide with a SuperStroke Fatso 2 grip.
Shoe - Footjoy HyperFlex in White/Grey/Blue
Ball - Titleist NXT
Bag - Well I walked in the door with mine. How else would I be able to carry around all of these clubs?
To top it off I would have to ride out with the Golfboard and swing by the Golf Beer booth to take a few sixers of each.
