the child is no longer theoretical, and has been named Hùtiān (护 (protect) 天 (heaven/sky)).
lord baby killer, Violet, suggested i make the child behave like Macaque in some ways but i had another angsty idea that Hùtiān knows something is wrong but doesn’t have a comparison for what a healthy family dynamic should look like so they don’t know what that something is and it is incredibly frustrating for them.
Wukong was 'allowed' to name the baby, Macaque did this as a "reward" for Wukong, and also because he didn't care enough to think of a name for the baby. the only person Macaque "loves" is Wukong (put 'loves' in quotes because that's not how you treat someone you love).
