Behold! The shittiest timeline ever! (Before asking questions read the whole post)

it’s really hard to explain properly the timeline of the au, because time flows differently in each realm.

Plus if you know NInjago you know it’s a freaking mess. There’s barely any mentions of specific time passages in the series, plus none of the characters ever had canonical ages so you kind of decide that for yourself (the only thing we know is that they are in their “twenties” in Dragon Rising”) PLUS THERE’S NO YEAR CALENDAR IN BOTH SHOWS. So the only way I was able to show the passage of time is with the characters age. also I don’t count Nya being the ocean for a year as a year in which she aged, And in monstruosity Kai remained there only for “weeks” meaning it was less than a month.

Also AT THE VERY LEAST 3 years passed between the merge and when Lloyd reunited with the others and found Arin again. So yeah in a sense Nya is almost OLDER than Kai lmao
