hi i dont have artfight but id love to hear more ab ur ao bing lore 👀 or what ur ice and scales au is

This is about to be so long lol.

Ice and scales AU: ice and scales is my current placeholder name for my lmk AU for Ao Bing. I wanted to have a tag to connect all my post for this AU.

Now for the fun part, the lore! Idk how much you know about Nezha’s legend, but the important part it that he kills Ao Bing as a child. My Ao Bing follows this. In this AU, Ao Bing’s death was an accident but him and Nezha weren’t friends(they didn’t know each other. Their only meeting was when Bing died). In this AU Bing was also a child when he was killed.

Fast forward to post jttw. Macaque is very dead. Chief(the not-Mayor in lmk who works for lbd) resurrects Mac and Bing to get the skeleton key in order to free lbd. Bing latches onto Mac because it’s the closest thing he can get to safety at the time. Because of all that’s happening to them in their time with chief/mayor, Bing develops separation anxiety with Macaque. Macaque gets mayor out of the picture and tosses the key. He feels bad leaving a 12 y/o dragon on his own with the danger of lbd or Mayor/Chief coming back, so he (begrudgingly) takes Ao Bing with him. Macaque becomes Ao Bing’s parent figure.

Skip to the time of the show, Ao Bing is now in his early 20s and lives with macaque and he helps with Macaque’s shows. He meets Mk during the episode where Macaque trains him a few times but other than that he doesn’t really do anything. When Mayor comes to take Macaque Ao Bing jumps in to save him but just gets taken too.

In season three Ao Bing fallows macaque around. He has also been ‘infected’ my lbd’s ice but has a stronger resistance to it because he’s a dragon. Bros built different lol. He doesn’t become overtaken by the ice like macaque is by the time the fire happens. He only goes along with the plan to use the fire to escape lbd to save macaque. In this au Nezha gets possessed alongside Wukong because I refuse to believe he would just do down like that. Ao Bing and macaque fight possessed Nezha and Wukong and the finale goes as canon.

I haven’t really figured out what I want ao Bing to do in season four but he stays with macaque most of the time. Might have a side plot of him and bai he getting ice powers as side effects of lbd. This is also where he starts to become friends with MK and Mei.

season five is when Nezha and Ao Bing start being gay(slow burn go burr). That and Ao Bing crashing out the whole time macaque is stuck in the pagoda. I plan on basically rewriting all of season five because I hate it :)

I was trying to pick random colors to try thinking of what color Lihuas fur should be. These seem kinda interesting, maybe with a pattern?

The 69 part was a coincidence.

But #696969 is an interesting shade of gray.
