Location: Seb and Mia's place
Comments:
Mia dressed herself in her Barbarella costume, looked at herself over in the mirror and smiled. She was excited to get together with her friends tonight. She hoped things would go well as she gave the living room a once over to make sure everything looked okay. 'Tonight is going to be a good night', she told herself as she waited for her friends to get there.
Brittany: Brittany felt amazing in her Mad Hatter costume and it made her smile since she liked Alice in Wonderland. Putting the final touches on her hair she place on the headband and got her stuff to her to Mia's. She was so excited to celebrate her friends 21st. She all but ran to her place out of excitement. Stopping in front of the door she knocked, "Patrick open up you sexy beast," she laughed.
Rachel was excited to go to the party tonight to celebrate Mia's 21st birthday. She hadn't seen a lot of her friends in a what felt like a rather long time, so she looked forward to the opportunity. As she walked out of Sam's apartment, she smoothed her hands over the dress. She felt a lot better knowing she wasn't going to the party only half-dressed, like she was sure some of the others were going to.
Alden didn't know these people, other than Blaine. He was the only one he'd met in person so far, but they all seemed friendly enough. He put on his Batman costume and grabbed his gift to give to the birthday girl he'd never bet before and headed toward this mystery lady's apartment, hoping that these people were just as friendly in person.
Giselle shook her head as she laughed to herself and ended the phone call. She really did miss her friends. Giselle glanced at herself in the mirror, making sure to tame her curls before swiping her clutch and Mia's gift in her hand and left her apartment. "Hey Sebbie Bear," she said, smiling at the man. "Nice to see you again." Giselle hugged him. It wasn't awkward to see him after knowing just who he was to Mia. And the blonde hoped it wouldn't start being that way.
Mia heard the first of her friends arrive and she practically squealed as she ran over and gave Seb squeeze before hugging her bestie. "Sponge Bob! You look beautiful! All eyes will be on you tonight missy!" She saw Rachel and Sam and she grinned and waved over at the before she went over. "Wow, Rachel aren't you adorable!" Raising an eyebrow jokingly she said, "Hey wangdoodle." Mia waved to the new guy but went straight over to Giselle. "Aren't you a sight for sore eyes," she complimented.
Brittany: walked in after hugging her friend. She turned around to see Sam and Rachel walk in wearing what looked to be matching costumes. Something inside her twisted a little. She brushed it away trying not to feel a little hurt that the two exes matched but she walked over to say hi to them. "Hey Rach. Hey Cutie. You guys look...nice," she said a little confused at what they really were.
Rachel laughed as she realized Sam was right. "Is that weird?" Rachel smiled at Mia's compliment. "Happy Birthday, Mia!" she said, before the girl turned away from them. Rachel smiled at Brittany as she approached. "So do you, Brittany! That costume is great!" she said. It finally hit her how it might look that she and Sam were matching, and she felt a little bad, knowing what it might look like to Brittany.
Sam shrugged. "Meh not really." He laughed as they walked to the party together. "We're like actor brother and sister." He raised an eyebrow at Mia's weird greeting and shook his head. He'd have to ask her what that look meant later. His eyes widened as Brittany walked up to them and he beamed brightly. "Sunshine, you look amazing." He slipped his arm around her waist, hoping that it was okay with her and placed a quick kiss on her lips and again hoped that it was okay. He knew they weren't dating, but it was only because he didn't want her to feel tied down to him. "I don't think I'm drinking tonight." He said to the two women. "I get weird when I have booze."
Alden wanted to hang back and watch everyone, but that was not how to make friends in this place. He couldn't help but be somewhat intimidated by the gathering of good looking people, but he would dive in head first. He went over to the pair he'd remember anywhere, Rachel and Sam. They came in together and he frowned not thinking they were a thing because both had flirted with him at one point in time the other day. He shrugged. "Hey. I met all of you guys online the other day. Might I say you all are even more intimidating in person." He was addressing the group but only looking at Rachel.
Giselle smiled brightly as the brunette came over. “Hey,” she gave Mia a hug. “Happy Birthday, Raquel.” She playfully pouted her lips. “So, how does it feel to be nice and legal? Does the air smell like freedom now?” she joked.
Mia would keep an eye on Sam tonight. She loved him like a brother but if he hurt Britt, she'd knee him in the wang! She turned her attention back to the beautiful woman in front of her. "Hahaha. It would smell even better if I could get a hug from the most beautiful woman in the room!" She smirked before looking at the gathering of her friends. "Don't just stand there guys! We've got more alcohol than we know what to do with! Drink up, because I intend to." She encouraged her friends to loosen up and have fun before turning back to Giselle. "So about that hug..."
Brittany: smiled with Sam kissed her quickly and quirked her eyebrow when he mentioned not drinking. "Well I intend on it cause I have to make sure the birthday girl doesn't drink alone," she laughed. "Hey Aldi! I am glad you got to come," the blonde smiled at him but saw the way he was looking at Rachel and decided to use that as a get away. "Well I am heading to get drinks. So anyone want one?" She asked turning about to head to the kitchen.
Rachel clenched her teeth and looked away as she saw Sam and Brittany interacting. She wasn't condemning them, and she knew it wasn't on purpose to hurt her feelings, but it felt like she was watching what had broken up her relationship in the first place. "Well I am," Rachel said, looking around for the alcohol when she caught sight of Alden approaching. A smile graced her lips as he spoke, and she blushed as she felt the way he was looking at her. "I'm not that scary," she said. "I can assure you that my bark is much worse than my bite."
Sam grinned at the new guy. "Hey dude, I'm not on duty tonight right?" He joked around with Alden before he noticed how he was staring at Rachel. The gaze made him uncomfortable, but who was he to say anything, he had done that before and almost lost his head. "Uh yea, alright then." He quickly turned and followed the other blonde into the kitchen. "Booze is sounding better and better." He laughed and picked up a beer as he looked at Brittany. "I'm sorry was that weird....should I have not done that. I mean...I don't know how you feel about PDA since we're not like together together." He sipped the cold beer. "Or do you like think that Alden dude is hot, cause he is...I didn't mean to clam jam ya, if that's what happened." He said apologetically.
Giselle gave a dramatic roll of her eyes as she continued to smile. “Greedy, aren’t we?” she shook her head. “As if I didn’t just give you a hug seconds ago. But since it is your special day and all,” Giselle lifted her arms, wrapping them around Mia’s neck and softly pressed her body against the model’s. She leaned back moments later, still in Mia’s grasp. “Happy 21st, Raquel.” She whispered, tucking a stray piece of hair behind Mia’s ear. She looked down at Mia’s outfit. “So…you look nice. Sexy,”
Alden laughed at Sam's question. "Nah, man. I think I can hold my own for tonight! If I need you, I'll send out the bat signal. I am Batman after all! You can be Night Wing." He grinned at Rachel. "Such a beautiful lady, no way you're not scary at all. Just even more stunning up close than I expected. So...am I interrupting something between you and Sam...or are you free for me to compliment the rest of the night?"
Mia could feel herself blush, and at the hug she received, she let herself take in Giselle's scent. "You smell good," she told the woman. Really good. Her hands wanted so badly to ball into fists, but she was still hold Giselle. She let her hands drop to her side. "Let's go grab a drink. I've been entirely too sober for too long. I've gotta make this a good party!" She grabbed Giselle's hand as they head toward the kitchen.
Brittany: laughed at Sam's nervousness and leaned into his ear, "You can kiss me whenever you want," she cooed into his ear and winked before turning around to make her drink. "Yeah Aldi is hot and all but I don't think he notices anyone but Rach at this point," she nodded her head in their direction. She finished fixing her drink only to take most of it in one gulp and poured a little more alcohol in the cup. She was going to have a great night she thought as she saw MM and Elle walking her way hand in hand. She looked at them and raised her eyebrow wondering what going on between them.
Rachel glanced at Sam as he walked away before turning to face Alden. She smiled at the compliment. "Sam and I aren't together," she told him, meeting his eyes and grinning widely. "You're free to compliment me as much as you want." She took a step forward towards him. "I have to say, you as well are a lot more good-looking in person." Her eyes wandered over to the kitchen. "Did you want to grab something to drink?" she asked, making eye contact again.
Sam tried his best to keep his cool when Brittany got like that around him. "Is that so?" He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against his chest and kissed her deeply. "I can get used to this." He said against her lips before letting her go so that she could get more booze. He watched as Mia and Giselle walked into the kitchen and grinned at the budding couple. He wondered if they were going to date soon, seemed like it based off of what Sebastian said. He turned to Britt and placed a warm kiss on her neck before looking at the other women. "S'up ladies." He nodded before he felt his shorts vibrating and noticed he was getting a call from an unknown number. "Uh, be right back." He hurried out of the kitchen and found his way into the bathroom.
Alden gave a nod. "Well I'm glad." He felt a blush burning his cheeks as she said complimented him. "Well if you think I'm good looking, and I know you're breathtaking, then I know when they get some music playing in here, it will be easy to get you to agree to dance with me, right?" When she suggested a drink, he held out his arm for her to take. "To the kitchen we go then, beautiful."
Giselle looked down at their laced fingers and tried to not smile at the sight. She failed, smiling softly to herself as Mia dragged her into the kitchen. “Hey,” she glanced at Sam as he exited the room. ”Prancer!” she felt her smile widen as she let go of Mia’s hand and hugged the dancer. “I haven’t seen you in a minute. How are you?” Giselle looked over at Mia. “Raquel, fix me whatever you’re having. Please?” she pouted. “I don’t care,” she turned back to Brittany. “I love the costume. Where’d you get it?”
Mia gave Giselle's hand a squeeze before letting them go. She saw Rachel and the new guy come in. As she headed over to mix herself and Giselle a drink. She waved the two over to where she making drinks. "Hey, Rachel. Who is your tall, dark and handsome date?" Mia winked being silly, and trying to make Rachel blush! "I'm Mia," she introduced herself to the new guy. Leaning into whisper to Rachel, "I'm so glad Sam did good on the outfit! And you did good on that guy you got attached!" she gossiped before she headed back over to Giselle and Brittany. She skipped over, kissing Barbie B on the cheek, just so happy to see her before repeating the action on Giselle but lingering. "Here's your drink, Angel."
Brittany: shivered when Sam kiss her neck but tired to hide it. She was a little sad when he walked away but whatever was look important so she didn't follow. "Oh thanks Elle, I got it at some shop across town. It was one sale or I wouldn't have gotten it," she smiled at her then turned to Mia as she got kissed on the cheek. "Happy birthday MM, I don't think I told you that when I walked in. Sorry," she pouted, "So what is going on with the two of you sexy ladies?"
Rachel nodded at the question. "You won't have to ask me twice," she said quietly, taking his arm when he offered it to her, and walking over to the kitchen to grab a drink. Rachel smiled as Mia approached, but by the time she'd finished talking, Rachel was turning bright red. "This is Alden," she said quietly. "But I believe you two are familiar, no?" she asked, looking down at her feet, and gasping as Mia whispered in her ear, shaking her head as the girl walked away. She looked over at Alden, and smiled. "What's your poison?" she asked.
Alden noticed Rachel's blush. "Not that I'm complaining, but I feel like I missed an integral part of that conversation. It had you blushing." Alden's eyebrows raised with curiosity. "I'll have what every the lovely lady is having, but don't be trying to get me drunk so you can have your way with me...well actually go right ahead. have your way!"
Giselle was nodding at Brittany when Mia returned. She bit her bottom lip, resisting the strong urge to turn her head as Mia’s lips met her cheek. “Thank you, Suave.” she murmured, teeth stark against her lipstick. Giselle absent-mindedly took a sip of her drink. Blue eyes narrowed slightly at the model. “What is this? You’re not trying to drug me, are you?” she asked, her tone light and her eyes dancing. Giselle's gaze turned to Mia, awaiting her answer to Brittany's question. The girl was Mia's best friend, after all.
Mia laughed at Barbie B. "I could ask you the same thing about you and Sam..." Mia smirked at her friend. When Giselle asked about the drink, Mia laughed. "Um, no, just trying to get you a little tipsy in hopes that you'd be down to make a Barbie B Sandwich. "Ladies, are you down to dance with the birthday girl?"
Brittany: "You know about me and Cutie," she said with a small laugh, "We are just close." Truthfully that is all the were right now. Very close. "Well, I did promise you a dance didn't I," she smiled at her friend and led the way out of the now crowded kitchen to where the music was. Turned around began dancing. "Best part of the party, dancing with my friends."
Rachel smiled up at him, waving her hand in dismissal. "Girl talk," she said, smirking at him, and then looking down to the selection in front of her. "Is red wine good with you?" Rachel asked, picking up a bottle and pouring herself a glass, before pouring his. She giggled at the comment and looked up at him through her eyelashes. "Don't tempt me," she said playfully. "Cheers," she offered her glass for him to clink his against.
Alden let his glass touch hers. "You have perfect taste. Red wine! Normally I'm just a beer man, but that could just be the cheap college student in me." He laughed. "Tempting is my middle name or so it seems to be around here." He smiled. "Damn I've been smiling entirely too much and we've hardly even talked. "Tell me more about yourself, Ms. Berry."
Giselle laughed. “A Barbie B sandwich?” she looked over at the dancer. “I don’t know about all that, though I’m sure she has the moves.” Giselle took a smaller sip from her cup and nodded. “Whatever you want, Raquel. It’s your night.” And with that, the three of them headed to the living room where the music blasted, calling them to dance.
Mia danced with the two women as she sipped on her drink. When Brittany slipped out of the equation, Mia placed her hands on the photographer's hips pulling her closer."I think Barbie B purposely left us alone, what do you think?" She grinned. "Damn, I kinda wanna kiss you, Rogue." Her grip did tighten slightly on the woman's hips as they danced.
Rachel shook her head. "Not perfect," she told him. "And trust me, I've got enough boxed wine back at my apartment to serve a small army," she told him. "But the fancy stuff here is free, so why not take advantage?" She shrugged. She nodded in agreement. "You do seem to be a hot commodity," she told him, feeling her lips quirk up in another small smile. "Yeah...me too. What is there to know? I'm 21 years old, a capricorn, from Lima, Ohio. I like romantic movies and long walks on the beach," she joked. "And yourself, Dr. Micheals? What should I know about you?"
Alden laughed. "Well should a small army come my way and they are in drastic need of boxed whine, I'll know exactly where to send them! But you know, I'll escort them so that they don't hurt an innocent you lady in their quest for wine." Alden shook his head when she said he was a hot commodity. "I honestly don't know what you guys see that I'm not seeing. Hot commodity? I'm just me. Regular guy from Georgia, moved here because my Mom always wanted to be here...after...now is not the time to talk about that but, yeah I'm a med student. Taurus, and I love long walks on the beach, candle lit dinners and chic flicks." Alden laughed once again.
Giselle bit back a moan and licked her lips as Mia pulled her close. “Huh?” she asked, her eyes having zoned in on Mia’s lips. She clasped her hands behind Mia’s neck. “I think you should do whatever you’d like. I’m never opposed to you kissing me.”
James , having always been fashionably late to everything in his life, finally found himself outside Mia's party. Music he didn't particularly like seemed to be blasting from somewhere within the depths of the apartment. He adjusted his cowboy hat and looked his outfit over one last time to make sure everything looked top-notch. A small grin twisted upon his lips, satisfied that he looked epic as hell, before he calmly helped himself inside. He scanned the area, spotting several people scattered all over the place, all paired off dancing, or deep in conversation with one another. He quirked a brow as he tried to locate Mia, which didn’t take long. His eyes quickly settled upon the Vietnamese, seeing her dance with the woman Giselle that he had ate lunch with the day prior. His grin broadened as he swiftly made his way across the room to tap his little sister on the shoulder. “I bet you thought I wasn’t coming.” He spoke from behind her, but in her ear.
Mia was about to lean in to kiss Giselle as she felt a tap on her shoulder. Her face fell into one of annoyance, not sure who was interrupting a perfect moment. As she turned she laid eyes on James. Her expression changed once again. "Yoshi!" she screamed over the music as if she'd never seen him before. She practically launched herself into his arms. "You have horrible timing but I'm glad you're here...and a cowboy...wow! Who are you trying to impress?" she let him go as she stood between him and Giselle. "You guys have met, right?"
Rachel giggled. "My hero," she said melodramatically, fluttering her eyelashes rapidly and placing a hand over her heart before laughing again and taking a sip of her wine. "Well, you're young, very good-looking. You have to be smart if you're in medical school. You're really sweet. And as far as I can tell you aren't a wanted criminal or a serial killer...seems like a pretty good deal to me so far," she shrugged, sipping at her wine again. Rachel could hardly believe what she was hearing as he continued speaking. "How are you single?" she asked bluntly, blushing at her forwardness, and taking another sip of wine.
Santana: Santana finally got herself together and decided 'why the fuck not' right? It's not like she can avoid the loud beating of music which by the way is just beside her room. She didn't really feel like it tonight but it's not like she has something more important to do. One last look from the mirror, she on her way walking towards the party. She scanned the area, mostly everyone was already there "Great, where the hell is Blaine?" she grumbled and luckily spotted Mia together with James and Giselle. "Here goes nothing" she murmured the shouted "Mia! Hey!" waving her hands up in the air.
Alden shrugged at her question. "I hadn't really been checking for relationships much. I had a lot of family things to deal with that were much more important than dating, but now looking back, I feel like I missed out - especially if I would have gotten to hang out with pretty ladies like you." He took a sip from his glass. "So how are you single, beautiful? You're amazing and an actress and you make me laugh and blush. I know there has to be a line somewhere I should be in even to talk to you."
Giselle was just about to stand on the tips of her toes, anticipation tingling her spine as Mia leaned in to kiss her before pulling away. A pout was beginning to press her lips when she saw who interrupted. Giselle chuckled under her breath and smiled. “No, we’ve met.” She said, answering Mia’s question. “Hey J, aren’t you looking all nice and southern!” she joked, going to give the developer a side-hug. “It’s nice to see you again.”
James A wide smile cracked his lips apart as he witnessed the excitement light up in Mia’s eyes. His arms moved to wrap around her, hugging her form against him as he chuckled softly. “Heh. Well, at least you expected as much from me.” He admitted, in agreement with her comment on him being late. “And you know I’m always dressed to impress!” James stated, with absolute sarcasm as he made an expression fitting to that of a snob, before laughing. His eyes moved over towards Giselle, who was seen just beside Mia, and he offered her a friendly smile and a small nod. “Yeah, we had some lunch together yesterday. She was tryin’ to dig up some dirt on ya. So I of course told her every horrible thing imaginable about you…and warned her to save herself from hell.” He teased with a smirk, before returning his sights upon the blonde. “And it is nice to you again also.” A smug expression formed itself upon his face, his hand moving to rest upon his belt, a perfection imitation of an old cowboy Deputy Sheriff. “Well, little lady, I do try n’ do my best.” He tipped his hat to her and winked. The sound of someone shouting over the music, screaming his little sister’s name, was enough to draw all of their attention over to the door where the latina woman was seen waving. His hazel eyes moved up and down her body, head-to-toe, taking in her entire appearance. “Huh…” He said quietly, his head tilting ever so slightly.
Mia looked over at Giselle longingly, really wanting that kiss they'd talked about, but she had guests to entertain. She buried her face against him and groaned. "You didn't! I will kill you!" she threatened James. Her eyes followed his to Santana and her face lit up. She waved the girl over. "You came!" she said giving her a hug before sliding over beside Giselle once more. "Um...I...uh...need another drink. Giselle, it's your turn to mix mine." Mia headed off past the kitchen toward the bathroom and hoped Giselle was following her.
Rachel looked down, feeling bad about her outburst as he gave her a serious explanation. "I'm sorry about that...I didn't mean it like that...I just meant you're everything a lot of people are looking for...but I'm sorry you had family troubles. Those are always hard." She took another gulp of her wine as he spoke. She laughed, shaking her head. "I'm single because my ex cheated on me," she told him honestly, her tongue becoming slightly looser with the alcohol in her system. "But...I'm really not all that amazing. Still, you can talk to me all you want."
Santana: Santana was caught of guarded by the hug but immediately returned it. "Of course I did. Kinda hard to resist." She smirked. She gave a friendly smile to Giselle, who was standing there, looking all flushed before turning around and faced James. "Hey there, Cowboy," she said with a wink. "Like what you see huh?" She raised her eyebrow playfully, surprised by James muteness. "Parties great huh? Wanna grab some drinks too?"
Alden finished off his glass, turning toward her. "Oh no...it's...nothing. You really think that I'm everything someone would want? Wow," he replied in wonder. "No on has ever said that about me before, actually." He was being bold as caressed her cheek. "Someone cheated on you? That person is an idiot, Rachel. From where I'm standing you're sweet and pretty and...wow I'm talking entirely too much," he rambled.
Giselle shook her head and laughed at James’ accent and the change in his demeanor. She took a step back and smiled over at Santana as she came over, sending the brunette a wave. Her tongue darted out to wet her lips as Mia spoke and then blatantly ignored the kitchen in favor for the bathroom. Giselle turned her attention to James and Santana. “…Did she just forget where her own kitchen was?” she joked and laughed. “I’m gonna go see if she’s had too much to drink. See you guys,” With that the blonde followed suit and after knocking on the door, followed Mia inside. “Finally,” she breathed, her hands almost itching to hold the model. “Now, about that kiss…” Giselle smirked.
James nodded his head. “It definitely is something to look at…” He found himself blurting out at Santana. He raised a questioning brow at Mia as she quickly dished out an excuse to leave the room, with Giselle quick to follow her lead. He pressed his lips together before shaking his head, having no need to ask to know what they were most likely really up to. He knew Mia better than anyone. The sound of Santana’s voice was enough to draw his attention back to her as she spoke, mentioning something about grabbing a drink. His eyes squinted for a moment as he met her gaze, almost as if he was debating to accept her offer. “Yeah,” James chortled, “I can never get enough of ‘em. Seems they haven’t changed abit since I graduated college. Sure, let’s get some drinks. What could hurt?” James smiled lightly at her. He looked around the room briefly as he tried to locate the drinks and when he spotted the table full of beverages he gestured towards it, before making his way over to it, assuming she would follow him. He let out a breath of air as he thought about what he was in the mood to drink, when his eyes fell upon his favorite liquor. “Ahhh, yes…” He reached for a bottle of whiskey. “This…This is the stuff.” He stated, as his eyes lit up.
Sebastian had been flirting with the pool boy, Diego, but he apparently had to go meet his cousin, Dora, about some thief nicknamed Swiper. Sebastian really wasn't sure, he might have had one too many purple nurples, but who cared? This was a party. He let his eye roam over the crowd, wondering who he should descend on next. Where was the birthday girl? He wanted a kiss. "Mia!" he roared over the music, thinking he saw her take off down the hall. "I want a kiss from the birthday girl!" He headed down the hall and glanced in his room, then hers and finally banged on the bathroom door before opening it and falling into Giselle and Mia. "Merde! Um hi! Happy Birthday mon amor!" He tugged her into his arms and landed a wet kiss on her lips.
Mia bit her lip in anticipation as Giselle entered the room. She barely gave the woman time to close the door before her lips were on hers and she was backing her up against the sink. The kiss was hurried and full of need, her tongue slipped into the other woman's mouth. There was a loud bang on the door that caused me to jump. She pulled away from Giselle when it clattered open, and Seb stumbled into them and grabbed her, kissing her. It was automatic that she kissed him back, but her mind was whirling. "Magneto, how much have you had to drink?" She looked from one to another, not sure what the hell to do next.
Rachel smiled sweetly and nodded. She shook her head in disbelief. "Why do I have a hard time believing that?" She asked. He was far too perfect to not have ever done something like this before. She gasped lightly as his fingers caressed her cheek. She looked up and met his eyes, before quickly looking away again at the question. "Sam cheated on me, actually," she told him. "With Brittany." She tacked on. She smiled at the compliment, and finished off her glass. "You know, Dr. Micheals," she said pouring herself another glass. "Flattery will get you everywhere."
Santana: Santana looked from Mia to James then to Giselle and then got the idea. " They just can't keep their hands from each other, huh?" she cooed. She stared at James reaction and could see he was actually concerned for her." Hey, she can handle herself. She's 21 for god-sake. Loosen up, will you?" she cheered. Santana followed James’s suit towards the table of alcohol. "Whiskey…Sure, why not?" she said with a shrug. Suddenly she heard a bang and a shout coming from someone and saw it was coming from a very drunk Sebastian.” Look who finally arrived.. God he's so wasted,"she told him, shaking her head and accepting the drink given from James. “Thank you, partner. Cheers," she said in an old country girl accent.
Alden frowned. "Wow...no, Brittany from what I see, is sweet, but you cavity sweet. You're like my own personal sugar cube or something." His hand went to her chin, lifting her face to meet his. "Will it get me a kiss?" He asked, wanting to kiss her since he walked through the door and spotted her. His face was so close to hers and all he had to do was lean closer, but he didn't want to do something she didn't want, so he went the 80 percent and waited for her to make the move the rest of the way.
Giselle sighed when Mia finally kissed her. She felt herself being moved, eventually sitting on the bathroom counter. A moan escaped her as their tongues touched. Giselle jumped, a bang sounding through the room. She blinked, seeing the image of a drunk, and possibly horny, Sebastian at the door. Mentally, the blonde patted herself on the back for not reacting to him and Mia kissing. She hoped that things wouldn’t get…weird and internally sighed at the resolve to do her best to keep it that way. “Hey Sebbie Bear,” she smiled. “Nice to see you’re having a good time.” She hopped down and patted him on the cheek. “…I don’t mean to be an ass but…” she said, directing her words to Mia. “I have to be to work in the morning.”
James paused when Santana told him to loosen up. His jaw closing and his eyes narrowing as he thought for a moment. “Yeah…You’re right.” He mumbled as his hand unscrewed the cap on the whiskey bottle. He picked poured some of its contents into two empty glasses rested upon the table before picking them up and turning to face the Latina, his mouth opening to say something when a sudden bang and the sound of an ignorant drunk rattling through the air. His brows pulled together as he turned to look at the source, his eyes settling upon the staggering Sebastian as he made his way across the apartment and disappeared somewhere in the direction Mia and Giselle had wandered off too. “God help her…that’s the thing she claims to be in-love with.” He shook his head, before nodding to Santana’s toast and quickly downing the glass of whiskey. He made the typical whiskey face, before releasing a sound of satisfaction. “Just what I needed.” James stated as he poured himself some more. “So, what brings you to L.A., I never really took the time to ask you before?” He inquired, with actual genuine curiosity, which even surprised himself.
Sebastian leaned against Mia and snuffled her hair lightly. "Hmm. Magneto..still not entirely sure about that." He raised his green eyes to look at the Giselle. "Hadn't said so yet, but you make an amazing Marilyn." Seb really wasn't that drunk, just good and buzzed. He watched Giselle for a moment and stiffened, gaze narrowing slightly. "You are being an ass." He countered, tone even. "So sit that ass back down on the fucking counter and be nice to the birthday girl." With a little sigh he leaned in and brushed his lips over Mia's cheek. "Don't do a thing I wouldn't babe." He moved in front of Giselle and out the door, tugging it closed behind him.
Mia was stunned, she didn't know what to do or where to look. She frowned. "What the fuck just happened here? I'm not entirely sure...what...did he offend you? Did he just call you an ass? Really...he just did that? And he just ordered you to sit...I honestly don't know what to say right now. I'm sorry. I'm going to talk to him." Mia didn't want to leave Giselle but she wasn't exactly sure she wanted to talk to Seb either but the entire air in the room was different now. "You...if you still wanna leave, you can. I don't want to hold you up from sleep." She raised both her eyebrows and sighed.
Rachel giggled at his words, but was cut off when he tilted her face up to his. She was frozen to her spot and her breath hitched at his question. She nodded eagerly, placing her hands on his shoulders and standing on her tip toes to meet him in a soft kiss. Her eyes fluttered shut as they made contact, and she held her lips to his for a long moment before pulling away, keeping her forehead resting on his, and letting a grin take over her features.
Santana: "Of course I'm right" she said proudly. "Love is love right?.. But seriously how could they..", she said pointing towards Giselle, Mia and Sebastian's direction ",..live like that. I mean, that should like win an award for awkward of the year. I don't know what's with Skyline, seems like everyone is with everyone.. see?", she said nudging her head towards another Alden who was standing to close to Rachel. " wouldn't they want someone just for themselves? I know I do", she said firmly. She cocked her head at James questions "Just work and to be far away as possible from my parents, specifically my dad" she explained and gulped a huge amount of whiskey.
Alden bit he lip as he pulled away from the kiss keeping his head resting against hers. "Well...um...that was nice. Really nice, like I need a repeat nice." He leaned in capturing her lips once more as he pulled her closer. "Your lips feel nice, Rachel," he said as he felt his cheeks burn with a blush. He could be such a dork sometimes.
Giselle eyed the closed door, mildly annoyed. “Mia,” she called out, her hand curling around the model’s wrist and gently tugging her over. “C’mere. You can deal with simplicity later, alright?” she tucked a few curls behind Mia’s ear. “I’m really not trying to be rude, Raquel. I have to be up before the ass crack of dawn and…” she held Mia’s cheek in her palm. “I’d rather be here with you though. And I’m glad I was able to be here tonight.” Giselle smiled softly. “Plus, I’m still interested. You haven’t scared me away. I wanna get to know you.” She took Mia’s hand and went for the door. “I should give you my gift before I leave. C’mon.” Giselle opened the door and led her to the small office where everyone’s coats and bags were. “Don’t open it now,” she said, removing a small purple box from her clutch. Giselle stood on her tiptoes and pressed a kiss to Mia’s cheek. “Night Raquel, happy 21st.”
James looked at Santana thoughtfully as she spoke, his eyes following hers as she pointed out all of the people that seemed to be hooking up with one another. The corner of his lip twitched a little as he nodded his head in agreement. “Seems you’re right about that, also.” James squinted as he tilted his head back and gulped down the second shot of whiskey. “Though, you should have seen Garden Gates…It was actually much worse.” He shook his head and released a sigh. “I was luckily spared from enduring a majority of the drama thanks to my business trips I had to take.” The brunette poured himself another drink as he listened to Santana’s response, a slight look of concern etching itself upon his features as she spoke of escaping her parents; particularly her father. “…Abusive, controlling..?” He questioned, trying to have a better understanding. He realized that this might come off as rude, however; and quickly apologized, “I’m sorry…Mm—“ James cleared his throat, “That’s none of my business.” He sipped on his whiskey.
Sebastian slipped back into the living room and wandered into the kitchen. With a sigh he dug a beer out of the fridge and turned to survey the party. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. He frowned slightly as he realized a certain dapper fella was missing, plus a smiley blonde couple. It was a weeknight as Giselle has to accurately pointed out. After dropping the bottle cap in the garbage, Seb headed towards Santana and James. "Not sure I've met either of you officially. Welcome to our humble abode." He smiled as he leaned against the table, "You guys having fun?" He tilted the bottom of his bottle at Rachel and Alden, "Appears they are."
Mia took a sigh of relief as she listened to Giselle's words and when she told her she was still not scared off, and when she handed her the gift, and kissed her on the cheek she could feel herself blushing. She was thankful that the woman had already walked away. Mia walked out of the room and down the hall to her own room, sitting on the her bed as she opened the small box. She saw a charm bracelet with a camera charm on it. There was a note that said, 'It was fun getting lost in the city with you. Maybe we can do it again sometime'. Mia felt her heart flutter as she placed the charm bracelet on her wrist as she headed back out to the party, already a bit calmer than she originally was. She walked into the kitchen to see Seb there. "Hey," she said before grabbing herself another drink.
Santana: just nodded, clearly the alcohol is starting to take over her head. "'Lucky you, I guess. So.. you have no whatsoever on anyone particular in this room?.. And my I ask, how the hell did you not fall for Mia. I mean, that chick is to die for" she said amused and bold at the same time. "What? Abusive? God noo..." she quickly explained. "It's fine..-" she was about to say something more when a very drunk and cocky Sebastian arrived, pointing the couples who seem to be having fun tonight. Then at the corner of her eye, she saw Giselle leaving, she scrunched her face wondering why the girl would leave so soon but her thoughts were shaken by Sebastian and she took a step back, away from him ",.. Woah there tiger. I think someone had a little bit to much".
Rachel nodded, agreeing. "Yeah, nice," she breathed, smiling into his kiss and locking her hands behind his neck as she pulled herself closer, deepening the kiss for a moment before allowing him to pull away again. "So do yours," Rachel replied with a smirk, reaching over and downing her wine, and feeling a wonderful buzz move through her body. She took a step closer to Alden, and leaned in to press another drawn out kiss to his lips. She glanced over to the other people in the apartment, and blushed. "Are we being rude?" She asked, laughing . "Should we be socializing?"
Alden looked over at the other people in the room. "No...maybe, then again who cares really. Just don't stop kissing me." He pressed his lips to hers once more, letting his tongue caress hers as he groaned in her mouth. "You still wanna mingle?" he asked, bringing her flush against his body, "because I don't. I'll meet 'em later."
James shook his head at her question. “Nah. I keep to myself, pretty well.” He admitted. Most of his reasoning of never being in a relationship due to his job and bad habit of video games. It was something that Mia knew all too well about him. At the mentioning of why he never hooked up with Mia, he shrugged. “I don’t know.” He responded, pausing briefly to take a moment to think. It wasn’t a question, surprisingly, that anyone had ever asked him before. “I’ve been with her since she was a toddler. I’ve always looked after her…I guess I just naturally took on the brotherly role…and its been that way from the beginning.” He lifted his glass to his mouth and paused to add, “but she is drop-dead-gorgeous, I know that much.” James admitted, complimenting his sister’s natural beauty before he took a swig of his liquor. It was at this time, when Santana was just about to continue their conversation, when Sebastian helped himself over to their conversation. James’s had noticed Giselle slip out of the front door, which caused him to wonder, but when Sebastian suddenly appeared he could only guess what might have happened. “Having about as much fun as one can have at a party.” James responded, sarcastically before he finished off another glass of whiskey. He was starting to feel a little buzzed by now, but that didn’t stop him from pouring another shot for himself.
Sebastian had no idea what the hell was Santana's issue and just blinked at her. "Ok.." He lifted his hands up in the well known 'I didn't do anything' gesture. While he was doing so, he saw Giselle slip by and frowned. "Ah..ok." The frown was then turned to James. With a slight shake of his head, he pushed off the table, "Gotta check the dogs." With a small smile he slipped by Mia. "Hey yourself babe. Sorry I apparently did shit all over your night." The last bit was low, so only she could hear. He moved back down the hall to his room, and quietly slipped inside. The dogs jumped all over him and he sat down with his back to the door. "hey guys.."
Santana: She wanted to ask more but she decided to hold her tongue for now and continued to look around what other people might be up to. They James started talking so she looked up and listened closely " Wow, didn't know suck guys could still exist.. Most guys would do anything to be in her pants.. You amaze me" she said in awe. "Drop dead gorgeous would be would an understatement" she added. She noticed annoyed tone of James voice and realize he doesn't like Sebastian very much. "You might wanna slow down on that, cowboy" she said patting his back and filling herself another drink. "What up with them?" she questioned quizzically. "Hey,wanna dance?" and chug the whole glass empty.
Mia didn't like being mad at Seb and she didn't like not talking to him. Mia knocked. "Seb," she called to him over the loud music. "Will you let me in, so we can talk, please? You didn't shit on my night," she tried to reassure him, hoping he would actually let her in the room to talk to him. Otherwise she would wind up hauling herself in her own room at her party. That or going to find James and ruining his night with her dramas.
Rachel couldn't help but find the truth in his words. Who cared? She didn't. She met his kiss with equal ferocity. Her tongue tangled with his, and his moan triggered her own. Her hand tangled in his hair, keeping his face close to hers as he spoke. She shook her head no. "Yeah, later...that's a good idea," she breathed before pulling him into another heated kiss.
Alden 's heart was racing as he heard her returning moan. He needed to catch his breath and but he didn't want to pull away. His lungs were crying out before he actually pulled away. "Rachel, I'm so trying to be a gentleman here, but if you keep responding the way you are, I'm not sure if I can keep the urge to tell the gentleman to back the hell up at bay."
James smirked crooked at Santana. “I don’t need to slow down. I can hold my liquor, little lady.” He assured her, in his fail attempt of a cowboy accent. “And..Mia told me I have two left feet…couldn’t ever teach me to dance for the life of me. So if you’re not ashamed to dancing with a dumbass, lead the way!”
Sebastian pushed the dogs back as they started to clamber at the door after hearing Mia's voice. "What?" he asked through the door and then managed to tug it open slightly. "Mia unless you want to unleash the hounds, why don't you head back to your party?" He blocked the dogs with his foot. "It's all good babe. Just been a long day."
Mia huffed. "Seb, really? Really? You're not going to let me in?" She didn't know what else to say to get him to let her in. "I just wanted to talk to you. Remember honesty? I was trying to explain why I was upset and the key word is was. I'm more upset now that you just ran away locking yourself in the room with the dogs." She folded her arms across her chest.
Santana: "Whatever you say, Cowboy". "I'm not afraid to be seen talking to a dumbass what makes you think I'd be ashamed to be seen dancing with one." she said playfully with her all so familiar wink. Suddenly remembering Giselle she excused herself for awhile to check on the girl ", I'll be right back, save me a dance okay?" she said as she made her way outside the apartment scanning the area in search for one stunning blondie.
Rachel: Rachel pulled back simply because she too needed to breathe, and was having trouble doing so. She looked up at him, and gave him a small smile. "What if I told you I didn't want you to be a gentleman?" She asked, eyes wide with faux-innocence. "And what I I told you that my place is just down the hall?"
Alden smiled. "Hypothetically speaking, if you told me these things, I'd say let's go." Grabbed her hand with a grin. "Lead the way, beautiful. You know if this hypothetical is turning into an actual situation."
