OC DUMP???? OC DUMP. So this is gonna include the following above idiots. The top three I have posted, the bottom four I have not. From left-to right, they are: Drake: Overprotective daemon uncle. Skilled with magic. Roc: Drake's young sweet-and-spicy nephew. Alph: Resident angel boy, and Drake's best friend. Lutet: Chipper med student. Fan of the occult. Teryl: The team's voice of reason. Very blunt. Ebony: Local indie musician with a dark side job. Chicory: Roc's best friend and fire magic specialist. The first five are involved in the main group of the Ganymede (though Ebony and Cory get involved later too, to say the least!), who fight off a strange magical plague that transforms people into insectoid monsters. There's your crash course!! And just so I don't blow your head off, the big huge art dump is below the cut!!

I feel like doing some OC spotlights, and I have two nerds who haven't had their refs posted, so let's start with the first unposted one-- Alph! Briefly talked about him in like, one post, and not much else. Alph's the second magic-user and unofficial resident morale officer of the Ganymede. He's known Drake longer than anyone in the group-- they met when Alph was 16!-- and is a big goofball with an even bigger heart. He's a member of the magical race known as Archae, which for all purposes is our 'angel' race to go with our daemons. (maybe I'll make a magic system/races sheet for the series at some point...)

He uses his magic to form things like forcefields or small projectiles in combat-- he's also pretty good at using it for disguises in the form of glamour. He does know SOME hand-to-hand (Drake taught him), but he doesn't like to use it because of how violent and visceral it feels. Alph's good at reading how others are feeling and tries to make them feel better through jokes, or hugs, or whatever he thinks the situation may require-- but sometimes, though he has the best of intentions, he'll go overboard or misjudge what the friend needed in the moment. Maybe his joke won't hit right, or he'll provide too much attention when the person needed space. He's good at making it right after the fact, at least. He's also exceptionally good at warding away tough questions he doesn't want to answer with his trademark goofy smile and aloof attitude. It's not exactly a front, but he does play it up sometimes in situations like that...

He's also got a weirdly guarded past, something he shares with Drake...

oh I guess this is his first time on the tumblr so uhhh this is Alphis!!!!! he is part of the same story as Drake and Roc are. he is Drake's bestie and most definitely not as cool as he looks here most of the time. i love him to bits <3
