Here is my entry for the @poketcg-art Hoenn collab! Mega Mawile was a challenge but was super fun- loved the full-art version by aky CG Works so I took it in a bit of a singer direction! <3 love Mawile, the diva :D

OK i'll be fashionably late for mermay and post this silly LAL cowboys AU I made like over a year ago now... aaaa..... (been a while since I posted LAL art in general) Random doodles cuz I haven't taken it much farther than this apart from assorted writing BS, but essentially here's these two. Quick lore explanation under cut.

Setting is much more pirate/open-seas flavoured. Mad Dog's a shark mer, Sundown starts out as a disgraced former navy admiral, basically similar premise as before with hunter/outlaw. Of course Mad Dog wants to kick Sundown's butt but something something honour system and knows he would have such an upper hand in the water. The solution? Stab your mark with a magic knife that turns him into a mer so you can take him on fair and square, only to end up... not doing that and then trying to get him back up on shore. Essentially a reverse Hans Christian Andersen Little Mermaid I guess hahah. I have friends who did art of this too but I'll leave it to them to post it if they want??? Happy Mermay hahah

recently watched a playthrough of Split Fiction (no P2 to play myself unfortunately :'D) and adored it!

(also there was never a moment where the outfits did NOT go hard, which is always a plus. was real hard to pick which ones to use for this)

spent a week hunting for a heracross for my platinum team, optimizing honey route + timeframes. found a MUNCHLAX before I found a heracross. posted this on bluesky to make fun of my misery

I feel like doing another OC post so here's Teryl's spotlight!!!

Teryl's another member of the Ganymede, and serves as the team's voice of reason. He's very blunt and unafraid to speak his mind, even if it ruffles feathers. As a software engineer in his day job, he's also something of the team's "tech guy", even if he does his best not to let his Ganymede escapades overlap with his work or personal lives. His reasons for being in the Ganymede are largely unknown, but several members have a hunch it's due to his status as a childhood friend of Alph. His tough and cold exterior suggests he's not one to consider anyone a friend-- however that couldn't be farther from the truth. While he's picky when it comes to who he'll associate with, much less who he befriends-- he absolutely would lay down his life for those he cares about. He's not the most aware of how his spiky nature comes across to everyone else, but his bluntness in being that voice of reason is his way of keeping his friends out of harm's way. He's equally hard on himself as he is on everyone around him.

Teryl also very much wants to become a daemon to better help the Ganymede's cause, as they've agreed that only magic-users should fight the corrupted monsters in order to keep the rest safe. His attempts to convince Drake to help him through the procedure have never come close to bearing fruit, but perhaps a meeting with another daemon-- one Ebony Hamara-- may get him closer to his goal, as well as an unexpected close confidant.

Been playing a lot with alcohol markers lately!! Here's one of my fav pieces I've done with it recently in honour of autumn going away soon :D Cory doesn't like cold weather, so he spites the change in seasons however he can before winter hits

Oatmeal raisin cookies are a flawed concept at best. Oatmeal raisin cookies are like a poop pot pie- No matter how much you season it, the kinds of spices you put in it, how you prepare it, what you ate prior, or how it comes out- It's still shit. At best you'll have something that won't make you hurl as soon as it touches your tongue. Oatmeal raisin cookies are an abomination and I stand with what I said.

I actually do not eat oatmeal raisin cookies enough at all to be a judge of whether or not they taste good or not. That being said, I turn this question to viewers of this post.

What do you all think of oatmeal raisin cookies? Do we agree with anon here or do we disagree? Let me know.

dude oatmeal raisin cookies slap if they're done right. if they're soft and chewy? edges a lil crisp? you mix a bit of cinnamon into the dough? ESPECIALLY fresh out of the oven? yes the crunchy ones SUCK. absolutely. i will shake your hand on that. but homemade, soft, buttery ones go so hard..... i adore the unprompted oatmeal raisin anger tho, that's hilarious thank you anon :'D

HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY TO LIVE A LIVE, my fav game of all time!!!!!!! <3 i didn't have the time or energy to do fun symbolic or big fancy pieces so I figured I'd keep it simple and take these four out for ice cream. Real talk, this game is so special to me and even though I only joined the party bus with the remake two-ish years ago, it's been such a steady source of inspiration over that time. Here's to many more years of fruity gunslingers, psychic mech battles, and bitter coffee!!! <3 <3 <3

OK it's technically not the 2nd in my timezone yet and I am still working on the art piece I wanted to make for the 30th anniversary, BUT HERE IS THIS FOR NOW. i've had this sitting on my computer for over a year and figured now was the time to unleash it happy 30th anniversary LAL <3

I feel like doing some OC spotlights, and I have two nerds who haven't had their refs posted, so let's start with the first unposted one-- Alph! Briefly talked about him in like, one post, and not much else. Alph's the second magic-user and unofficial resident morale officer of the Ganymede. He's known Drake longer than anyone in the group-- they met when Alph was 16!-- and is a big goofball with an even bigger heart. He's a member of the magical race known as Archae, which for all purposes is our 'angel' race to go with our daemons. (maybe I'll make a magic system/races sheet for the series at some point...)

He uses his magic to form things like forcefields or small projectiles in combat-- he's also pretty good at using it for disguises in the form of glamour. He does know SOME hand-to-hand (Drake taught him), but he doesn't like to use it because of how violent and visceral it feels. Alph's good at reading how others are feeling and tries to make them feel better through jokes, or hugs, or whatever he thinks the situation may require-- but sometimes, though he has the best of intentions, he'll go overboard or misjudge what the friend needed in the moment. Maybe his joke won't hit right, or he'll provide too much attention when the person needed space. He's good at making it right after the fact, at least. He's also exceptionally good at warding away tough questions he doesn't want to answer with his trademark goofy smile and aloof attitude. It's not exactly a front, but he does play it up sometimes in situations like that...

He's also got a weirdly guarded past, something he shares with Drake...
