the time karina spent with phae were some of her favorite memories , they were best friends - but sometimes more . despite the complicated relationship , she was grateful for it . she was happy neither of them felt the need to put a label on things , & just enjoy each other’s company as best friends . just to be able to have that company without the pressure of making it into something it didn’t have to be & it not turning into something awkward or hurting the other person , just complete comfortability , she knew how rare that was to find . it probably wasn’t a normal thing for best friends to act the way they did towards each other , but karina didn’t care one bit . normal was overrated anyway , & she didn’t want to be that . the raven haired femme finds herself outside the other girl’s door , bringing her hand up to knock a few times as she waited outside with a bottle of bacardi & box of pizza , along with a few of their other favorite treats in her bag . “ open up , cutie , ” she calls out through the door , light chuckle following .
