And here’s the Ultimate evolution for Rattomon. He’s some kind of giant Gorgonopsid with metal parts. His name is TechnoPhalanxmon!

So, while Phalanxmon is based on a (fictional) future animal and (real) ancient weapons, this one is based on a (real) prehistoric animal and (fictional) futuristic weapons.

Bottom image has the whole evolution line so far. Will there ever be a Mega design? who knows...

I wasn’t super happy with Rattomon’s Champion stage, Phalanxmon, so I did some brainstorming with twitter friends and here’s his now updated design! I am not sure how long this will stick for, but for now, I’m happy with it :)

The inspirations are: 

- the Falanx, a fictional creature from Dougal Dixon’s “After man” which is a future predator that evolved from rats - the phalanx, a kind of military formation from ancient times
