UNPOPULAR OPINION

Okay... say what you want about Gerard Butler in the 2004 adaptation of The Phantom Of The Opera, but dear god, at least he dialed back the crazy.  I have spent the entire day listening to different Phantoms (including Ramin Karimloo, who I absolutely ADORE) and all I can say is... Gerard Butler is still my Phantom.  He at least portrayed him as a somewhat tragic and misguided character whereas it seems all the others do is run around like a maniacal lunatic and scream.  

(Even with all the screaming I enjoyed every minute of it!)
