I just saw your video of the rude white lady and that angered me so much. I am a child of two immigrant parents (Guatemala and Mexico) I have never seen some one call out my parents like that, but I notice the stares and the whispers. They speak perfect English, but their grammar isn't too good. But one time my dads friend was called out my dad (having a very small accent) told the guy, in Spanish then English, "I feel bad for ignorants like you, can't even speak two languages." he shut up after

Maybe you should go for a simpler type of dress and see how that fits you. For me it’s all about the fit. But then again, if you like something, wear it, people will most likely love it if you wear it with confidence. I speak from personal experience

I can’t wear something I know I don’t look good in, or I’ll be in a horrible mood the whole day. Sometimes I don’t have proper clothing so I throw whatever on and I just feel like hiding, so I don’t think I could pull that off in a place where I’m even supposed to take pictures. 

I don’t know, I’ll look for a dress, but I’m more comfortable in the shirt and skirt combo, so I might just convince my mom to get that. Thank you, though.
