Flora walked up to Tony, the one from Leaf Valley, and waved to call his attention. "Hey, congratulations."

Hearing a familiar voice, he turned around to see the woman again. He waved back then replied, “Thank you! Congrats for winning 3rd along with Skye!”

Flora went to congratulate the person she had tied with. But as she waved toward him, she realized it was Phantom Skye, a man who had been seen many times stealing from the town. Still, if he hadn't been arrested entering the festival he must be cleared, at least at the moment. "Congratulations," she said, a little uncomfortable.

Skye, sensing the woman's discomfort, kept his distance from her a few feet.

"To you ask well." He nodded and smiled.

Hey, I think it's awesome what you're doing with the FOMT and MFOMT games, and you did a good job of it! I just wanted to let you know that in the FOMT version (with the girl sprite) the dialogue screen seems to sort of flash, like the pixels keep switching in and out of transparency. It doesn't interfere with game play, but you mentioned wanting to know if anything weird was going on.

This is a weird problem with the emulator software, not the game itself.  Try this and see if it gets better.

In VBA-M, go to Options -> Video -> Render API and turn on Motion Blur.  It should help with the transparent pixels.

"Uh, hi, this is for you, happy harmony day," Flora said as she noticed Candace walking by, holding out some flowers that, as she just noticed now, were the same shade as the girl. She wished she had been able to find some sort of fossilized shell for her, but flowers were nice too.

Candace stared wide-eyed at the flowers. They were beautiful... She wasn't sure what to say. "Oh, um, thank you... thank you so much." She carefully took the flowers with a smile, "I'm... I'm really sorry, I wasn't prepared for such a thing... I don't have anything for you at the moment." She sighed, feeling a bit guilty. She had gotten flowers for Shelly and Luna, but no one else. "Um, but these are so nice... I'm really happy."One day she'll definitely make it up to Flora.

     ( ➳  Shea not sure how far he wandered. Very far. Many trips on many foreign things. Boats. Very large boats that he was unused to. But for good cause. Help become better warrior. See more of world; learn more things. Wada's idea. He trust Wada. Had been difficult to map out path, but getting help from friends made easier. Other islanders were willing to lend hand. Suggested place called Forget-Me-Not Valley. Familiar to some of them.

Place was smaller than he thought. Not very lively. Liked it, though. He didn't draw attention himself. Wasn't ready to. Supposed to go to Inn, but rather explore first. New place. First time out of jungle... he was curious. He knew some of them probably spotted him, but if they called out, he didn't respond. Meet later. Make friends. Tell Wada about them when he went home.

Found himself near a river. Was calming, because it reminded him of home. What caught his attention, though, was tent. Looked empty. Was middle of day - so many inhabitants weren't there. Knew he shouldn't snoop around other peoples' things... but curious. Slowly, the wild man approached the tent and poked at it, his eyes wide. Why tent here? Everyone else looked like live in houses. Very strange.
