Eden knew there was no time to be weak or to feel sorry for herself. She knew she had to continue leading the group like nothing happened. Still, even with that in mind, she'd slipped away from the group for a moment to herself. The anxiety in her veins was too nagging for her to worry about anyone else, and as she sunk to the ground, all she could hear were the echoes of her rapid breaths. How did she let everything get so messed up? Surely everyone was blaming her for getting lost in the caves, too; she wouldn't let herself forget that. For now, at least, the dark and quiet away from everyone else was comforting. The cold stone of the cave behind her back was calming. She closed her eyes and briefly wished she wouldn't have to return to the group and face the music.
