Posting these first cause there's not that many lol. I don't tend to draw my OCs in Magmas, idk why XD But I did draw Helena and Pepo!
This is me shooting Pepo cause I have trouble drawing him. (Affectionate though, I really like him). Also, @dagrimaceshaker 's Wing Gaster, the royal scientist! Wow!
I like the lineart for Helena here, but I coloured her from memory and it really shows. I'll draw her again later to give her justice >.>
The next Trickster you see is... An eager one. Maybe a bit too much.
You've never met this 'Marmalade' girl before now, yet she swears that you're best friends. Maybe she's mistaking you for someone else...?
She chastises you for even daring to mention that she may have the wrong people, so she eventually drops the subject. Still, you can clearly tell that she's already made up her mind about you. Best not to challenge her any more on the subject, otherwise you might be here all night just arguing with her.
Also, that bear she's holding... it's strange, isn't it? It's cute and all, but... You swear you saw it moving on its own. It appeared to whisper something in her ear when it thought you weren't looking. Just what exactly is that thing...?
Funnily enough, the first house you come across is the least... bright house that's immediately visible. It certainly looks spooky, that's for sure, but you can't really tell how much of it is intentional and how much of it is just a result of lacklustre maintenance. However, it appears there has been at least an attempt at decoration, as you deduce by the scarecrow stationed out on the front-lawn.
After the door opens seemingly by itself, a man walks out, explaining to you the strange customs of this street. Where some houses offer treats and some offer tricks, and how it was on you to discover which is which, resulting in a candy reward.
This all seems well and good, but... He looks an awful lot like the scarecrow that was set up out front, doesn't he? And yet when you turn to take another look, its already gone...
TST Trick-Or-Treat: Making A Turn, Or Two, Or Three (INTRO)
Trick-or-treating is quite a difficult affair, even in the biggest Australian cities. This is no different for Melbourne, as seeing a house offering candy is quite the rarity, and one that's decorated even moreso.
However, you hear rumours of a suburb who's always decorated. One you'd never heard of before - Bayonde Loche - where the candy is plentiful, and the costumes are too. But the catch is that the entrance only appears after the sun goes down on Halloween day. Or rather, they probably just don't let anyone in until it's dark for the sake of the aesthetic. One can't possibly hide a whole suburb, right?
Regardless, as you step into the moonlit street, you immediately realise that the rumours were very much true. Every house is so bright, so decorated, so fun! Wow, it's just a dream come true. And yet, something odd immediately catches your attention.
A strange boy, who'd been sat by the first house on the block staring intently at you, hastily gets up and makes his way to stop you.
"Please pay the entry fee. 500 candies to enter the street," He claims, "or leave."
You frown. This kid can't be any older than nine, at most. Why would they get him, of all people, to collect a fee? And such an exorbitant one at that? Not even one step into the neighbourhood, and someone's already trying to scam you.
Oh well. You continue on, ignoring the child's complaining. Though, strangely enough, he doesn't seem to do much to stop you either. It looks like you successfully called his bluff.
I wanted to try carving his face as accurately as possible, and I think I got pretty close outside of a botched nose job. My silly little guy ✨ (who also happens to be a grown ass man)
If you were lucky enough to see the one, singular instance Maple mentions it in-game, she has a cousin! Holly is a pretty normal kid, outside from the fact she’s one of few people who can see the supernatural without outside interference! This comic takes place shortly before the game, so Maple and Miette don’t know much about ghosts here. ^^
Oh, and there’s also the Watcher. He’s there too I guess. Holly doesn’t know what his deal is, but he hasn’t really done anything, so maybe he’ll leave if she ignores him…?
There's also a comic to go along with this illustration in the expanded post! :D
It’s funny introducing Holly and The Watcher as new characters, cause they’re probably some of my oldest alongside Ivy. I was actually gonna make Holly a game last Halloween instead of TST, but the scope was too big for me to finish in time XP
I don’t draw Pepo as much as I should cause I find his silly hat really difficult to draw.
I thought it would be funny if he picked out new pumpkins for his head every year, but it always ended up looking like the one he has now. It’s like that one trope of a character’s wardrobe being fifty copies of their default outfit.
The little comics below the cut were supposed to be digitized for April Fools, but I ran out of time XP That’s why they’re so messy LOL
For the sake of not spamming 50 new OCs all at once, there's actually a lot of characters I've yet to post but draw all the time.
During May-June I went crazy w drawing these two specific OCs, but I couldn't post any of it cause it featured both general spoilers for Phantarium and also cause I haven't introduced them yet in anything.
...Also because if i posted all of my OCs then people would notice how frequently I abandon them LOL, I have to hold back for the sake of consistency...
